Welcome to Volleyball Intramurals:

We are excited to start another season of Intramural Volleyball at Bayshore School (Grades 5-7 only).  This program is designed for students who are eager to develop their volleyball skills and prepare for future competitive opportunities. 

Participation Requirements

To participate in the intramurals team, all students must submit the following three forms:

* District Acknowledgement Consent & Release Form

* Physical Examination Form

* Participation Parental Approval Form

These forms must be on file before students can participate in school activities.

Schedule

• October 14th, 2025 is the first volleyball practice. Practices will generally be held Mondays and Tuesdays at Bayshore from 2:00-3:15 unless otherwise specified. Games will be held on Thursday evenings starting Oct. 23rd at NFMAA. The full practice and game schedule is posted below. 

• Students need to attend all practices and games. If there will be an unavoidable absence, please notify the coaches via email with as much advance notice as possible. 

Practice Pickup

• Please park in the loop at the front of the school or in the parks and rec lot across the street and pick up your student from the front door at 3:00pm. 

• Please have your yellow car tag or your driver's license. 

Practice Attire 

• Athletic shoes

• Volleyball knee pads

• Students with long hair must have their hair tied back.

• Students may change after school into athletic attire in their classroom’s bathroom (with permission) or in the PE bathroom after dismissal.

• Water bottle with their name on it (clear/plastic)

Games

• • Due to district regulations, we will not compete against other schools this year. We will hold scrimmage games with our own students. 

  • Games will be held at North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts. The game schedule can be found below. 

  • Before each game, there will be a 1 hour practice on the court at NFMAA. Practice starts at 5:00pm. Games will start at 6:00pm. 

Game Attire

• Athletic shorts

• Solid color t-shirt (A specific color will be assigned to your student)

• Volleyball knee pads

• Athletic shoes

• Water bottle with their name on it (clear/plastic)

Conflicts

• If your student has a conflict with another sport or after-school activity, please email the coaches and we will try to work out a scheduling solution if possible.
