Welcome to Volleyball:

We are excited to start another season of Volleyball at Bayshore School (Grades 6-8 only).  This program is designed for students who are eager to develop their volleyball skills and prepare for future competitive opportunities. 

Participation Requirements

To be eligible for tryouts this season, all students must submit the following three forms:

* District Acknowledgement Consent & Release Form

* Physical Examination Form

* Participation Parental Approval Form

These forms must be on file before students can participate in school activities.

(Student Athletes must attend school for half a day or more on game day to be eligible to play.)

Schedule

• October 12th, 2026 is the first volleyball practice. Practices will generally be held Mondays and Tuesdays at Bayshore from 2:00-3:15 unless otherwise specified. Games will be held in the evenings starting Oct. 28th. The full practice and game schedule is posted below. 

• Students need to attend all practices and games. If there will be an unavoidable absence, please notify the coaches via email with as much advance notice as possible. 

Practice Pickup

• Please park in the loop at the front of the school or in the parks and rec lot across the street and pick up your student from the front door at 3:00pm. 

• Please have your yellow car tag or your driver's license. 

Practice Attire 

• Athletic shoes

• Volleyball knee pads

• Students with long hair must have their hair tied back.

• Students may change after school into athletic attire in their classroom’s bathroom (with permission) or in the PE bathroom after dismissal.

• Water bottle with their name on it (clear/plastic)

Games

• Start time: TBD

• Girls play first on Mondays and Tuesdays; boys play first Wednesday and Thursdays

• Home games will be at designated schools 

• Games cost for spectators will be $5.00  

Game Attire

• Athletic shorts

• Jersey 

• Volleyball knee pads

• Athletic shoes

• Water bottle with their name on it (clear/plastic)

Conflicts

• If your student has a conflict with another sport or after-school activity, please email the coaches and we will try to work out a scheduling solution if possible.
