Participation Requirements:

To participate in the intramurals team, you must be in 6th or 7th grade and you must have submitted the following three forms:

* District Acknowledgement Consent & Release Form

* Physical Examination Form

* Participation Parental Approval Form

These forms must be on file before students can participate in school activities.

*One team of 5 (1 will be our alternate) will be chosen to compete in the upcoming tournaments that we are invited to. Even if you are not chosen to complete in tournaments, we hope you join us for practices. 

Practice and Tournaments: Students should have the items listed above when arriving at the golf course

--Golf shorts or skirts

--Collard shirt- tucked in

--Tennis Shoes or Golf Shoes

--Water Bottle

--Hat or Visor 

--Golf bag and a few essential clubs (if possible)

Practice Schedule and Logistics

The Season will officially commence on Monday, April 1st. (Required dates to begin attending)

**If students would like to join us for pre-season practice (not required), we will be meeting at Golf World from 3:00-3:45pm. The students will need to bring a few dollars to purchase their bucket(s) of range balls. If your child does not have clubs, we will share. This is a great opportunity for the kids to learn, understand and practice golf safety and etiquette.

* Practices will take place after school from 3:00-4:15pm at El Rio.

* Students will need to be driven to and from practice.

* Practices will be on Monday's and Wednesday's. Students will be participating in middle school "meets" to better prepare them for tournaments. 

      Please be on the lookout for subtle changes to times due to meets. We will have to schedule them to accomodate a few other middle schools in the district.

                 Make up week if needed: May 18-22

Students should be prepared with everything that was listed above when arriving at the golf course.

* Pick-up is promptly at 4:15 pm.
