Welcome to Run Club! (Grades 3-5) *Run Club is no longer accepting run club forms. No additional students will be added at this time.*
Day & Time: Thursdays (after dismissal - 3:00) /October -February
Run Club is a fun, low-pressure way for students to move, build healthy habits, and discover the joy of running. Whether your child is brand-new to the sport or already loves to race, everyone is welcome! Each Thursday after school, we focus on playful warm-ups, short runs, and running games that build stamina, teamwork, and confidence. The emphasis is on encouragement and personal growth—not speed or competition—so every participant can set goals, celebrate progress, and enjoy an active, supportive environment. At the end of February, we will have our final event where we participate in the Strides for Education 5K at FSW!
What We Do:
*Fun warm-ups and running games
*Pacing, breathing, and goal-setting tips
*Team relays and "beat your lap" challenges
*Cool-down stretches and teamwork talks
What to Bring:
*Athletic shoes and comfortable clothes
*Water bottle
*A good attitude

Safety and Logistics:
*Students will need a signed activities form. Hydration breaks are built in to the practice schedule. Running routes are on/near campus.
Pick Up: Please pick students up promptly at 3:00 at the Parent Pick Up loop

Final Run Club event of the year will be Saturday, February 28th at FSW for the Strides for Education 5K
