Feedback Loops
Seesaw can be a place where students share their thinking, communicate their learning, self-reflect, and offer feedback. Seesaw can be used to interact and push learning forward by providing specific feedback (text or voice recording) and afterwards give opportunities for students to revise their work. This can be an ongoing learning journey, showing growth and understanding.
Feedback and Drafts on Seesaw Mini-Training
Shaye Anderson, a grade 4 Teacher, says
"When I comment and provide feedback for students, they have a chance once a week to read my comments and reply to them. In all of my self-assessments for students, they need to talk about or write how they used my feedback to improve their learning. We talk about how this feedback is on Seesaw and in-person during class."
"Parents love to see the kids reflect on where they are at, what they can improve, and what their next steps are. That's the best part of Seesaw, the kids know exactly where they are and can explain that easily."
