Progress Skills
Seesaw does not have a built-in grade book, but it does include a progress skills section where teachers can tag curriculum standards to activities that are assigned to students. When reviewing each student submission, teachers can provide a skill rating using a 3-to-6 point scale (stars). These skill assessments are only visible to teachers, not students or families, and can be used to monitor student progress and next steps.
In the video, below, you will learn how to add skills, tag posts and activities, give ratings, and view skills.
To add a Skill
Tap the wrench (settings) icon.
Tap Manage skills.
Tap New Skill
Note: You can also add skills by tapping on the graduation cap, then tap on Skills.
