Naviance is a comprehensive online platform that supports students and families with course planning, college, and career exploration. LISD students will use Naviance throughout their middle and high school careers.
Students are set up with their Naviance accounts in 6th grade.
All middle schoolers participate in guidance lessons focusing on career exploration and to select their next year courses.
In 8th grade, students will also create their high school four-year school plans.
Counselors set up student accounts, and parents/guardians receive their own account for access and monitoring.
On September 15, 2025 an email was sent with instructions and your personal passcode to activate your parent account. Please set up your account, as Naviance will be used for course selection in the coming months and requires parent involvement.
