5 Ch'ing Ming Festival, Hong Kong
The Ching Ming Festival (AKA Qingming Festival) is a Chinese holiday celebrated on April 5th of each year. In Chinese, Ching means pure or clean and Ming means brightness. Most people call this holiday grave-sweeping day because people head to the cemetery to clean graves.

13, 14 Baisakhi
Baisakhi Festival falls on April 13th or April 14th and marks the beginning of the solar year. People of North India, particularly Punjab thank God for good harvest. Visit to Gurudwaras, Vaisakhi processions and traditional performances are the highlights of the day. Baisakhi has special significance for Sikhs as on this day in 1699, their tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji organized the order of the Khalsa.

21 First Day of Ridvan, Baha'i
The word Ridvan (pronounced "riz-wan") means "Paradise." For twelve days, April 21 to May 2, Baha'is celebrate the period in 1863 when Bahau'llah, the Prophet-Founder of the Bahai Faith, resided in a garden in Baghdad which He called "the Garden of Ridvan ." During this period, Bahau'llah proclaimed His mission as God's messenger for this age.

Each April 23, Turkey celebrates Çocuk Bayrami, or Children’s Day. Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk declared the holiday in 1920, as Turkey was becoming an independent nation after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, to illustrate that children were the future of the new nation.

29 Ninth Day of Ridvan, Baha'i
During 1873, Bahá'u'lláh ordains Ridván as one of two "Most Great Festivals", along with the Declaration of the Báb. He then specified the first, ninth, and twelfth days to be holy days; these days mark the days of Bahá'u'lláh's arrival, the arrival of his family and their departure from the Ridván garden, respectively.
