Many of the learning tools your scholar uses require extensions to be added to chrome. Some applications, like iStation, lead you through adding those extensions straight from LCPS Go. For extensions that require a little more work, directions are provided below.
Make sure your scholar is logged in to google. If your scholar is signed in, their student ID number @lcps.org will be listed as the user when you hover over the person icon. An easy way to log in to google is to log in to LCPS Go, then choose the google tile and click on the drive icon. The window will prompt you for a login - remember @lcps.org when logging in to google.
Click on the multicolored Apps waffle (nine squares organized in a square) on the left hand of your bookmarks bar or type chrome://apps/ in the address bar.
Click on the Chrome Web Store icon in the lower right corner of the window.
The extensions that are supported by LCPS will appear in the chrome webstore.
This extension will read web pages out loud to your scholar.
This extension may be necessary for scholars to be able to share login information with apps in LCPS Go.
This extension is most easily accessed through LCPS Go. iStation is a math practice program. Remember to choose MCCS as your domain when logging in!
