We're the Flaghship University in the state of Mississippi affectionately known as Ole Miss. We're nestled in Northern Mississippi in a charming and quintessential college town of Oxford. Students represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia and over 90 countries. We offer a diverse and rich academic curriculum with research opportunities, and have been distinguished as a Carnegie R1 Research Institute, and our programs range from the sciences, business, the Arts and so much more! We boast two Languge Flagship programs in Aarabic and Chinese, and challenge students with renown and special programs in our Honors College, Croft Institute for International Studies, Honors College and Southern Studies. The only medical school in the state of Mississippi belongs to us and our Pharmacy, Business and Law Schools all educate, challenge and prepare our students to lead! Being a part of one of the most competitive conferences in the country (SEC), our students are passionate when it comes to school spirit and cheering our teams onto victory! We take tailgating in the Grove to another level, but we are a community who learns together, grows together and supports one another. With over 300 clubs and organizations that includes an active greeklife system, there is so much to do and students are also actively involved in our club and intramural sports as well.
