Who We Are
High Point University is a small private school in central North Carolina with just under 5000 students. We offer 50 majors and 57 minors. We are known as the Premier Life Skills University because we focus not only on academics but also experiential learning, cultivating life skills, and building character among our students. We are a Division I school in the Big South Conference, and offer over 150 clubs and organizations for our students to get involved in. 80 percent of our students are from out of state and we are ranked among the best 382 colleges by the Princeton Review. Most importantly though, 97 percent of our graduates are either employed or continuing their education within 6 months of graduation.
