A four-year public institution located 9 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC and a student population of just over 10,000. With over 90 different programs of study, over 160 clubs and organizations and 19 division one sports teams, there is always a way to be involved with TEAL NATION!

Colors are teal, black and bronze (teal represents the ocean and bronze represents the sand). We are the only school in the entire nation who's mascot is a literary character. We have our own island and our own fleet of vessels.
