All students need to complete the required coursework assignments linked below for a total of 90 %.
In other to earn the other 10 points you will need to complete Optional and/or Extension activities. Your total score on the whole assignment will not exceed 100 points. Students can submit their assignments in class or via Schoology.
You may choose to complete any or all of the linked prep work background information to prepare for class or the extension activities to further your knowledge on each topic. While optional activities are designed to expand your knowledge, completion of these activities can be used towards your overall score on this assignment up to 10 points. Suggested due dates are provided to help you manage your time and are listed next to each assignment.

Students have the choice to complete a Project as the final summative for the Unit or can complete a multiple-choice test instead. All students will be asked to complete an FRQ for the unit that will make up 40% of their final unit summative grade.
PROJECTS MUST BE COMPLETED & SUBMITTED BY THE END OF THE CLASS PERIOD THE DAY THEY ARE DUE!
iF A STUDENT HAS not BEGUN A PROJECT BY THE TIME THEY ENTER CLASS THE DAY OF THE UNIT SUMMATIVE THEY MUST TAKE THE MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST INSTEAD!!! THIS CLASS PERIOD IS NOT A DAY TO START THE PROJECT BUT MERELY A TIME TO PUT THE FINAL TOUCHES ON IT AND SUBMIT IT!!!
