Plot of the Series
YURU CAMP follows the adventures and experiences of a small group (5) of high school girls as they learn the joys of nature through the experiences of camping in the great outdoors. The main character is Rin who prefers to go camping in the wintertime as there are fewer people and bugs. She developed her love of camping from her maternal grandfather, who makes an appearance from time to time. The other main character is Nedeshiko who has recently moved to the area and meets Rin quite by accident. The two share a meal and Nadeshiko becomes interested in camping. From there she meets two other girls, Aki and Aoi, at her school who are the only members of the "Outdoor Activities Club". Although none are as experienced as Rin, they put a great deal of effort and enthusiasm into their attempts.
The amount of effort put into drawing highly detailed and accurate scenery is amazing and the beautiful music used throughout the series makes for a wonderful companion to the visuals and scenes depicted. I would argue that the music is the finest and most consistent I have had the pleasure of hearing in any of the anime I have viewed.

VERY COOL!!!
Check out the TWO sites below that show the real-life locations from Episode Five. Demonstrates that the animators took great care to make sure that the details were depicted as faithfully as possible for the actual locations. Nicely done!!

Yuru Camp (Laid Back Camp) Episode 5 Episode Summary
"Two Camps, Two Campers' Views"
Nadeshiko, Aki and Aoi take a nice relaxing dip in the hot springs, almost succumbing to the urge to eat before they reach their campsite. Meanwhile, Rin arrives at the Takabotchi Highlands and is overcome by a desire to go to a hot spring too, only to discover the nearest one has closed down. Dejected, Rin decides to climb to the summit of Mt. Takabotchi , where she is rewarded with a lovely view, before finding a spot to cook some pasta. Pay close attention to the title of the book that Rin is reading and look carefully at the sky above her. A subtly funny scene.
Nadeshiko, Aki and Aoi finally arrive at their campsite, where Nadeshiko makes curry for everyone. Unfortunately for Nadeshiko, her cooking is not appreciated enough by the other girls when she loses at rock-paper-scissors and has to sleep in the second tent by herself.
While the others are asleep, Nadeshiko goes to take a picture of the city lights below their campsite to send to Rin, who then reclimbs Mt. Takabotchi to send her a similar view in return. The episode ends with a sigh from both girls as they appreciate the beauty of the landscape that lay before them and the slight sound of the wind that is there mutual viewing companion.
Synopsis from Wikipedia w/edits and additions by Mr. S.
In this episode, once again , we are rewarded with this anime's stunningly beautiful representation of real world natural settings. The final scenes and the accompanying music, are to me, the finest in the entire series. The last image and the absence of any sound other than the wind proves the old adage, that sometimes, "Less is more." It is a fitting conclusion to our presentation of this series and to the Anime Club's presentations for 2022-2023. Please tell all your friends to attend.

The finest scene in the series, at least I believe it to be, is below. Definitley turn up the volume. The music that accompanies the scene is just so magically wonderful.
