PLOT
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure tells the story of the Joestar family, a family whose various members discover they are destined to take down supernatural foes using powers that they possess. The story is split up into unique parts, each following a member of the Joestar family, who typically have names that can be abbreviated to the titular "JoJo".
Episode Summary
Plenty of villains challenge the heroes in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but DIO becomes the series' ultimate antagonist. "DIO's World, Part 3" is the penultimate episode of Stardust Crusaders and it contains the climax of Jotaro and DIO's fight. The previous and following episodes are nearly as strong, but "Part 3" is infinitely rewatchable because of the heightened battle theatrics that take hold of DIO and Jotaro.
Both characters push their Stands to their limits and the time-stopping consequences lead to thrilling action and satisfying strategy. DIO's elaborate knife attack is impressive, but the coup that he pulls during the episode's end where he regains full power through Joseph Joestar's blood is a captivating cliffhanger.
