Spanish and English High School Equivalency
The goal of our High School Equivalency (HSE) Program is to provide targeted instruction that will enable adult learners to pass either the General Equivalency Diploma exam or the High School Equivalency Test which will lead to the earning of a Massachusetts HSE credential. However, we strive to help our students to successfully transition into and succeed in postsecondary education, and or training, and or employment.
Requirement for HSE Program.
Be 16 or older
Not be enrolled in any High School
Do not possess a High School Diploma or HSE Credential.

Step 2: You will be contacted by a staff member within a few weeks to take a brief "speaking placement test." This will help us to assess your current level and place you in the most appropriate class.
Step3: All students are required to take a placement test before enrolling in classes. The test is used to assess each student's readiness level at the time of enrollment. Students are also required to take a post test. Students who complete the inquiry form will be enrolled when space is available. Our waitlist is extremely large therefore students may have to wait to be enrolled as space becomes available.
For students interested in native language Spanish Instruction, there is a requirement for students to also receive English instruction at the same time.
Class Schedules
Morning Session (AM):
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Afternoon Session (PM):
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 12:15 PM – 2:30 PM
Evening Session:
Group A: Monday & Wednesday, 5:45 PM – 8:45 PM (And an additional 3 hours of online learning utilizing the Aztec Software platform.)
Cost
Classes are free. Books will be provided to students who attend at least 12 hours of class.
