Mr. Lampano's 5th grade students explored the history of Dred Scott's life and court case. The ELA and Social Studies learning of this historical moment was enhanced by their ability to create a podcast to communicate their learning through a new digital tool. Students had the choice of conducting an interview with Dred Scott or to tell his story as we understand it now in the 21st century.
