At Leigh Academy Cherry Orchard, we are proud of our school uniform. Our uniform can be purchased directly through the Brigade website although some items are available to purchase from the office, such as ties. Some pre-loved uniform items are also often available on request.

Ebbsfleet: Green, St Pancras: Light Blue, Stratford: Red and Ashford: Purple. If you are in doubt about your child’s House Colours, please contact the office.
Children should not be wearing any jewellery in school except for religious purposes.
School ties are a compulsory element of the school uniform and are available to purchase from the School office.
Pupils are asked not to bring their own pencil cases for a number of reasons. We provide them with everything they need in school.
Our PTA provides green school book bags with the Academy logo to all new starters in Reception. These can also be purchased via Brigade.
Year 5 & Year 6 students may bring in mobile phones, if these are needed for walking home purposes. However, they must be handed in to the class teacher at the beginning of the school day and handed back at the end. If your child wears a Smart Watch, or similar device, this must be disconnected from the phone in order to ensure the internet and notification are not accessed via this device during the school day.
It is your child's responsibility to look after their belongings and Academy uniform. All uniform and personal belongings including lunch boxes and water bottles must be labelled with your child's name, so it is easier to locate if lost. We will endeavour to return all named items to the children. Unnamed items will be stored in the lost property box in the office entrance.
