Important: during the night free-play period, players who wish to may continue playing, but there will be no plot-driven events or NPCs present during that time - so you are also free to simply go to sleep.
Sleeping areas are off-game, but please behave there in a way that does not disturb those who are still playing. When going outside - for example to the sanitary pavilion or common areas - you should behave and appear as your character.
Pack as you would for a larp and a multi-day camping trip out of town at the same time, keeping in mind that:
the larp lasts three days - from Thursday to Saturday, therefore you need items of ingame clothing (such as shirts) for a change of clothes
the weather in September can be varied - from sunny heat to torrential downpours and cold nights
The Fantasy Village lies in the Foothills – you can expect mud on the unpaved paths and constantly wet shoes from the morning dew.
We won't include a full list of things to pack here, but essentials are:
An outfit and footwear to match the weather and terrain, as well as headdress that fits the character (not much shade in the game area)
A towel, flip-flops and toiletries (including sunscreen and mosquito repellent) and a theme-fitting bag, in which you can hide your toiletries when going to the shower (also useful for other things)
atmospheric lighting (preferably an electric lantern or electric candle, no fire)
a pouch for in-game coins that can be stolen and something to hold separately off-game money/cards that cannot be stolen
cash (polish zlotys) - will be used to pay at inn for alcohol and kvass, as well as for some items at crafters and food stalls.
a cutlery (spoon, table knife, fork),
a sleeping bag (and something to cover the non-immersive bedding during the day so it doesn’t stand out)
take any medication you normally use, especially antihistamines.
Larp takes place in Wioska Fantasy, near Przemyśl. Address is Kuńkowce 167c.
Car
Travelling by car is the most convenient way to reach the venue. To make the journey easier, we've prepared a ridesharing spreadsheet where you can arrange a lift with other participants or offer one yourself.
You may drive onto the square in front of the tavern (marked in blue on the map) to unload your belongings. Once you have unpacked, please move your car to the parking area next to the showers by the entrance (marked in green). Please note that the parking area is unattended.
Train/bus
The nearest city with numerous train and bus connections is Przemyśl, from which the easiest way to reach the Village is by taxi (about 9 km).
Organized transport to and from Kraków
If you need assistance getting to the venue, you can use our optional paid shuttle service from Kraków Airport. If you are interested in this option, details are on the info site.
The shuttle departs from the airport at 12:00 on Thursday and returns to Kraków Airport on Sunday at approximately 15:00.
Players are assigned to their accommodation based on the groups they belong to and the preferences they indicated in the registration form.
Accommodation is provided in cabins, the keep, small canvas-roofed huts (known as svens), and the immersive tents in a military camp. Every sleeping space is equipped with a wooden bunk, a foam mattress, a fitted sheet, a pillow, and a wool blanket.
Please note that this will not be enough to keep you warm during the night. Bringing a sleeping bag is mandatory, and we also recommend packing a hot water bottle or disposable hand warmers if you tend to get cold. None of the accommodation buildings or tents are heated.
We kindly ask you not to remove blankets or pillows from the accommodation areas.
All accommodation (including the cabins, the keep, the svens, and all tents) has electricity, lighting, and a small amount of space for your personal belongings. Storage space is limited, so we recommend bringing a bag or a blanket to discreetly cover your belongings.
The military camp consists of several immersive tents. Both the military camp and the artists’ tent will offer the same standard of accommodations as the other lodging options.
You can find the accommodation assignments for each group on the info page.
Designated sleeping areas are off-game for the entire duration of the larp.
Public toilets are available at several locations throughout the game area.
Showers are located in the pavilion next to the parking area, outside the in-game space.
Hot water is provided by a boiler system. During periods of heavy use, it may temporarily run out.
Bathrooms and toilets will be cleaned daily.
Meals will be prepared on-site by the experienced and trusted catering team led by Halina Łagunionok. They have many years of experience cooking for larps and you may know them from events such as HØST - viking LARP and Allenstern.
Breakfasts and dinners will be served as an off-game buffet, from which food can be taken into the in-game area. Each meal will be available for approximately two hours, so there is no need to queue as soon as it opens.
Throughout the event you can expect healthy, varied, and filling meals. Thanks to the dietary information you provided in your registration forms, we will also do our best to accommodate your dietary preferences and allergies.
Breakfasts may include fresh vegetables, egg salads, warm boiled sausages, freshly baked bread from a local bakery, cottage cheese spreads, homemade fruit preserves, cheeses, lactose-free products, cold cuts, and sweet pancakes.
Dinners may feature braised pork ribs, lecho, roasted chicken, vegetable goulash, braised pork neck, small cutlets in white sauce, cream soups, baked stuffed zucchinis, vegetarian lecho, pasta with different sauces, grilled halloumi, and savoury filled crêpes. Every dinner will also come with your choice of potatoes, pasta, or grains, along with fresh salads, leafy greens with vinaigrette, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower with dressing.
Throughout the game you'll also find water, coffee, tea available in the same area whenever you need a break.
The tap water comes directly from the municipal water system and is perfectly good to drink.
If you're feeling hungry between the main meals, the tavern will also be serving additional meals from 2:00 PM onwards. Prices range from 20 to 40 PLN, depending on what you order. The menu may include hunter's stew (bigos), goulash soup, braised pork, grilled meats, grilled vegetables and cheeses, bread with lard and pickled cucumber (including a vegan version), toasted baguettes, salads, and fresh slaws. The current menu and prices will be displayed on the notice board outside the tavern. Every dish will be clearly labelled with allergen icons and information about potentially problematic ingredient.
Everyone should bring their own cutlery: a spoon, knife, and fork.
We also recommend eating lunch on your way to the venue, as the first meal provided during the event will be dinner at 20:00.
Alcoholic beverages (beer and cider), as well as non-alcoholic beer, will be available for purchase in the tavern during the game. Payment will be accepted in cash only.
Those who are visibly under the influence of alcohol may be removed from the game area.
The nearest grocery store is around 2 km away.
During the game, it will be possible to buy items and food from craftspeople and vendors running stalls. Some items will be available for in-game currency, while others can be purchased for Polish złoty, which it’s worth preparing in advance.
If you have an idea for a small business your character could run at a stall, write to us.
Sleeping areas, all toilets and showers, the parking lot, and the designated smoking area next to it are off-game. Any other off-game areas will be clearly marked.
Smoking cigarettes and e-cigarettes is allowed only outside the game area. Period-appropriate pipes may be smoked within the game area, but only in open spaces, not inside buildings.
