Sex and eroticism in the broadest sense occur in the world of The Witcher, so we would like to draw your special attention to the possibility of nudity and erotic scenes appearing during the game. Scenes involving partially or almost completely undressed people will not be frequent, but we can not completely exclude their appearance. While playing erotic scenes, it is not recommended to undress completely. You can loosen up or even take off some part of your clothes, but it is entirely up to you. So it's worth thinking about how you feel about similar themes and whether playing them is comfortable for you.
Participation in erotic scenes is always voluntary, while all safety words and gestures apply. If you find it uncomfortable to participate or observe a similar event, simply move away without interrupting others playing.
The default mechanic for playing erotic scenes is a mechanic called ars-amandi. It involves gently touching each other's hands and forearms, starting with the palms and ending with the shoulders. The closer you move your touch to your partner's shoulders, the more intense and intimate the contact you play. In such a context, touching your hands means flirting, touching your forearms means hugging and kissing and massaging your shoulders means having sex. Eye contact between partners is also necessary for this. The end of the erotic scene comes after one of the partners thanks the other for the pleasant time spent together.
If you want to kiss someone, you can use a theatrical kiss, in which you embrace the person's face with your hands, and place the kiss on your own thumbs, placed on their lips.
We allow theatrical reenactment of erotic scenes, provided that all participants in the scene enthusiastically agree. We do not allow exposing genitalia.
If acting out a sex scene is difficult for you, you can stop at describing it to the other person or end it by thanking them for their time together.
The House of Dreams follows the same rules that apply to other scenes involving broadly understood erotic themes. The House of Dreams is not a brothel, but an exclusive venue of refined, high-class entertainment. One might imagine it as similar to Japanese teahouses, where mysterious geishas (of any gender), trained in the arts of conversation, music, and dance, keep guests company.
It is not a place where someone throws a handful of orens on the counter, points a finger, and disappears behind a curtain. Of course, situations involving the roleplaying of intimate scenes may occur, but the House of Dreams remains an elegant place, not a vulgar one stripped of etiquette.
It is unacceptable to act out any sexual violence.
