Congratulations to Cynthia Moreno for placing third in the Congressional App Challenge.
The Congressional App Challenge is an annual competition hosted by members of Congress to encourage students in their district to learn how to code.
Her app was created to help Pre-kinder students who are learning numbers, letters, and colors. She was inspired by her 4-year-old brother, who has been having trouble learning effectively due to online school.
Every year students are challenged by the districts to create and submit their original apps for a chance to win the Congressional App Challenge (CAC). The U.S. Representatives judge the apps. The winning team and each winning app are recognized, and their app may be displayed at the U.S. Capitol Building for one year. Cynthia Moreno was recognized by Congressman Henry Cuellar for placing 3rd in the Congressional App Challenge.
