WOW! What an amazing start to school life our wonderful learners in Reception have had. This term we have been learning how 'People learn and care for others.' We have been using the story 'The Colour Monster' to express how we are feeling and why. We then focussed on our Learner Profile Attributes to ensure we knew how to relate our learning together. We liked learning about Zog and how Principled he is. Miss Brading even came to Reception to talk about her job as a Principal. We all liked being Risk Takers like 'The Gruffalo' and we even had a visit from Mrs Carter and PC Tony to explain to us what it is like to be a Police Officer. We had our first successful Stay and Play Session where our grown ups got to celebrate all of our achievements with us this term. We have all been showing our Dog Mentor Willow how we care for her and we all enjoy teaching Willow her commands. We love her very much and are very happy when she comes to learn with us.
