Course Description:
This is intermediate core course for students in the audio-visual technology & film career pathway. Students will go beyond the basics of film and television production and develop specialties in one or more forms of audio-video communication such as camera work and editing, animation, graphics and sound (including music) production for video. Students will work as a team to complete various productions and videos for special events and programs, documentaries, commercials & instructional videos. These students will work on more complicated projects, as well as take on mentoring and leadership roles in the production process. These students will be responsible for the production of a news program informing students and the community about Lakeside news and current events. Students will also oversee the production of Lakeside TV's live events utilizing Lakeside mobile production trailer.

This is a course designed for students to work on the editing process of their videos. This will allow students the opportunity to fine tune their edits as well as to explore advanced editing software and techniques such as Adobe After Effects. The students must be currently enrolled in Broadcasting II or III to be able to take this course. Students must be self-motivated. This class is an opportunity for students to independently work on their individual projects.

Course Description:
This course provides students with a more specific look at sports medicine from the perspective of the Athletic Trainer that includes injury prevention and emergency management, tissue response to injury and treatment, psychosocial, and pharmacological issues specific to the physically active population. Students will gain a more complete understanding of sports medicine and the role it plays in the physically active community.
