Course Description:
College and Career Readiness is a semester-long course. Students will have an opportunity to achieve the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC). A CRC is a credential/certificate based upon the ACT WorkKeys® assessments, which substantiates to employers that an individual possesses the basic workplace skills required for 21st century jobs. A CRC will allow a student to show prospective employers that he or she possesses the basic skills they are seeking.
Notes: This course is recommended (*but not required) no later than the first semester of the senior year to assess labor market information, personal academic and career-ready potential, and make application to postsecondary institutions.

Course Description:
Work-Based Learning is designed to assist students in their specific CTE career pathway areas and to help them successfully transition from school to career. WBL is a worksite-learning option, designed for high school students, that includes a combination of classroom instruction and paid or unpaid worksite training ending with an approved credential. A student may enroll in a WBL course for up to two years and earn a maximum of four credits.
