Course Description:
Survey of Business is a two-semester course that helps students build skills and technical proficiency needed to be successful in college and/or a professional career. Students taking this class will complete a comprehensive study of MicroSoft Office applications Word and Excel as well as an overview of PowerPoint. This course will also further educate students on the various career pathways in Business, Marketing and Finance, and the skills necessary to succeed in these careers.

This course introduces basic accounting principles for a business. Topics include the complete accounting cycle with end-of-period statements, bank reconciliation, payrolls, and petty cash.
