Each of the departments within the Career & Technical Education Department offers a group of courses that with constitute completion of a Course of Study in a particular career cluster focus area.
To become a Pre-Educator completer, you must take the following Level 1, 2, and 3 courses in sequential order.

Paraprofessional Certificate: you will take this exam during the Orientation to Teaching 2 course
Certified Teaching Assistant: you will be eligible after completing the 3 courses listed above, passing the Paraprofessional exam, and earning at least 80 hours of Field Experience credit.
Additional Elective Courses in Family and Consumer Sciences: (these do not apply to your Pre-Educator completer status)
