Organic vs. Conventional Farming

For Organic food to be considered Organic food it cannot contain synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, irradiation, sewage sludge, hormones, antibiotics, and genetic engineering. So basically organic farming cannot use chemicals and Conventional Farming can. This definition is enforced by the USDA, which stands for the United States Department of Agriculture.
