Trip images are stored in the Shared Member Docs / Trip Photos Google Drive folder structure by year and trip
Some set up is required by the office or a 'trip photos' coordinator to set up the drive folder and the links for members to be able to upload images via link or QR code to the designated trip folder. Uploaded images will then display as a 'drive' folder insert with the grid setting on the trip page to display all the images uploaded.
For each trip, there are two activities that need to be done:
Create an 'uploader' that provides the mechanism to allow members to add images to a trip folder
Add a trip page to the Members Resource site that will have the link and QR code to the uploader and display the contents of the trip folder where members will add their images.
Go to: https://driveuploader.com
Click Sign in using email address pics@ladynelson.org.au and the password that can be supplied by the office (email enquiries@ladynelson.org.au)
Click blue My Uploaders button
Click blue Create
Enter the trip name in the title using year / date / description e.g. 2025 Jan5-9 Hobart to Triabunna
Copy the title to the destination folder (the uploader will create the folder with this as the folder name)
Click Select to select the Year folder in Drive (select the 'pics' account as needed and 'continue' through all the sign stuff, search for the year to locate the folder)
Save (see Sample screen shot below)
Click on My Uploaders
Select the Uploader just created
Click the link and download the QR code to your computer with a relevent name - you will use these when creating the trip page on the Members resource site
Use the link or QR code to upload an image (any image)
This is for anyone set up with permissions as a site editor
Sign in as an Editor to the Members Resource Site
Navigate to the Photo Gallery menu item and duplicate the Event Photos Template page
Rename the page with a title describing the Trip date and route
paste in the uploader link where indicated
insert the QR code as an image where indicated - you will likely need to drag the corner of the image to resize to something smaller
Insert the Drive panel for the trip folder where indicated - click settings to display in Grid format as images
Publish the page
When selecting location after signing in, search the Year or 'trip photos'
