本校重視學生英語說話能力及個人潛能的發展，並由本地英語教師與外籍英語教學團隊共同參與及帶領不同的英文校隊、恆常訓練和校際比賽。
學校提供多元而有系統的英語培訓平台，涵蓋深度閱讀、故事演繹、校園廣播、公開演說及英語辯論。各項校隊及訓練均有不同的培育重點，讓學生按照自己的能力、興趣及潛能，參與合適的學習平台，重點發展個人所長。

專業外籍英語教學團隊 : 針對不同潛能，提供專業指導
本校外籍英語教學團隊積極參與及帶領不同的英文校隊訓練和比賽，並因應各校隊的性質、學生的能力及發展需要，提供具針對性的語言訓練和專業指導。
在不同的培訓平台中，外籍英語老師擔當不同角色，例如帶領學生分析英文故事書、指導角色演繹、共同策劃校園英語節目、訓練公開演說技巧，以及進行辯論及即時反駁訓練。
透過示範、討論、排練、實戰及個別回饋，外籍英語老師協助學生在自己感興趣或具潛能的範疇中深化學習，將英語轉化為閱讀、創作、合作、表達及思考的真實工具。

Local English teachers and our native-speaking English teaching team work collaboratively to lead a wide range of English enrichment teams, regular training programmes and inter-school competitions.
We provide diverse and structured opportunities for English development, encompassing in-depth reading, storytelling and performance, campus broadcasting, public speaking and English debating. Each team and training programme has a distinct developmental focus, enabling students to pursue opportunities that match their abilities, interests and potential while building on their individual strengths.
Through focused and progressive training, students can continue to explore, develop and excel in their chosen areas. In addition to strengthening their English language proficiency, they develop confidence, creativity, collaboration, critical-thinking skills and resilience in the face of challenges.
Professional Native-speaking English Teaching Team: Developing Individual Strengths through Expert Guidance
Our native-speaking English teaching team plays an active role in leading a range of English teams, training programmes and competitions. Tailored language training and expert guidance are provided according to the nature of each team, as well as students’ abilities and developmental needs.
Across the different programmes, our native-speaking English teachers take on a variety of roles. These include guiding students in analysing English storybooks, developing characterisation and performance skills, co-producing English campus programmes, strengthening public-speaking techniques, and practising debating and impromptu rebuttal skills.
Through demonstrations, discussions, rehearsals, authentic practice and individual feedback, our native-speaking English teachers help students deepen their learning in areas that match their interests and potential. Students learn to use English purposefully as a tool for reading, creating, collaborating, communicating and thinking.
Diverse Pathways for English Development
Each English team and training programme has its own distinctive focus. When matching students with suitable learning opportunities, the school carefully considers their interests, preferences, abilities, potential and developmental needs.
Students may join these programmes through open participation, teacher recommendations or team selection. This enables them to build on their strengths, broaden their experience and continue growing across different areas of English learning.
Battle of the Books 英文閱讀隊
以深度閱讀拓闊視野，以團隊智慧迎接挑戰
Battle of the Books 閱讀隊成立至今踏入第四年。隊員每年共同挑戰閱讀 12 本英文故事書（chapter books），深入探索不同作品的人物、情節、主題及重要細節，並透過小組討論，從不同角度分析和交流對圖書內容的看法。
這項比賽是一段結合深度閱讀、團隊協作與解難思維的學習歷程。面對緊湊的比賽節奏和具挑戰性的題目，隊員需要保持冷靜、互相支持、靈活調整策略，並共同作出準確回應。
在備戰和比賽過程中，學生不但建立持續閱讀英文書籍的習慣，更培養面對壓力和挑戰的能力。他們學習從錯誤中反思，在困難中尋找新策略，並以「永不放棄」的態度持續進步，充分展現成長型思維（growth mindset）。

Battle of the Books
Broadening Horizons through Reading, Rising to Challenges as a Team
Now in its fourth year, the Battle of the Books Reading Team challenges its members to read 12 English chapter books each year. Students explore the characters, plots, themes and key details of each book in depth. Through group discussions, they examine the texts from different perspectives and exchange their ideas and interpretations.
The competition offers a valuable learning experience that brings together in-depth reading, teamwork and problem-solving. Faced with challenging questions and a fast-paced competition format, team members must remain composed, support one another, adapt their strategies and work together to give accurate answers.
Throughout their training and participation in competitions, students not only develop a sustained habit of reading English books but also strengthen their ability to cope with pressure and challenges. They learn to reflect on mistakes, explore new strategies when difficulties arise and continue striving with a never-give-up attitude—demonstrating a strong growth mindset.

Puppetry Team 英語布偶隊
讓故事躍上舞台，讓英語自然流動
英語木偶劇團成立至今踏入第四年。在本地及外籍英語老師的共同帶領下，學生透過布偶操控、故事演繹及舞台表演，在富趣味而真實的情境中運用英語。
從認識故事、分析角色、分配角色、練習對白到正式演出，每位隊員都肩負重要任務。外籍英語老師指導學生運用適當的發音、語調、節奏及情感演繹角色，讓人物的性格和故事情節更鮮明地呈現在觀眾眼前。
排練不但培養學生的英語表達能力，更需要隊員發揮創意、專心聆聽、互相配合，並共同解決排練及表演中遇到的問題。英布偶劇將語言學習、藝術創作與團隊合作結合，讓學生在舞台上建立自信，享受以英語說故事的樂趣。

Puppetry Team
Bringing Stories to Life through English
Established four years ago, the English Puppet Theatre Team provides students with valuable opportunities to develop and apply their English skills through puppetry, storytelling and stage performance. The team is jointly led by local and native-speaking English teachers.
From exploring the story and analysing its characters to assigning roles, rehearsing dialogue and performing on stage, every team member has an important part to play. Our native-speaking English teachers guide students in using appropriate pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and expression to portray their characters and bring the storyline vividly to life for the audience.
Rehearsals not only strengthen students’ spoken English but also require them to think creatively, listen attentively, coordinate with one another and solve problems together. By bringing together language learning, artistic expression and teamwork, English puppetry helps students build confidence on stage and discover the joy of telling stories in English.

English Anchors 校園電視台 英文主播
從校園走進廣播室，再以英語連繫世界
English Anchors 為學生提供真實而富創意的英語溝通平台。學生與外籍英語老師共同構思、策劃及主持不同主題的校園英語節目，向全校介紹校園生活、文化、節日及生活資訊，將英語自然地帶進校園。
從訂立節目主題、蒐集資料、撰寫講稿、分配主持工作、排練到正式錄影，學生需要積極表達意見、發揮創意及互相合作。外籍英語老師會在過程中示範自然的英語表達，並指導學生改善發音、語調、連讀、節奏及主持技巧。
學生亦需要學習面對鏡頭、回應拍攝現場的變化，並與拍攝團隊緊密合作。透過一次又一次的實踐，他們逐漸由朗讀講稿，進步至能夠自然、自信地與觀眾溝通。
從校園走向專業廣播平台
2025/26學年，English Anchors 踏出校園，參與香港電台節目。學生參演英語廣播劇，並接受外籍主持訪問，在專業廣播環境中展現英語表達能力、創意及臨場自信。
這段經歷讓學生從校園主播走進專業廣播室，再把自己的聲音帶到更廣闊的平台。

English Anchors
From the School Campus to the Studio: Connecting with the World through English
The English Anchors programme provides students with an authentic and creative platform for communicating in English. Working alongside native-speaking English teachers, students develop, plan and present campus television programmes on a variety of topics, including school life, cultures, festivals and everyday interests. Through these programmes, English becomes a lively and meaningful part of the school environment.
Students take an active role throughout the production process—from selecting programme topics and conducting research to writing scripts, assigning presenting roles, rehearsing and filming. This requires them to contribute ideas, think creatively and collaborate effectively. Native-speaking English teachers model natural spoken English and provide guidance on pronunciation, intonation, connected speech, rhythm and presentation techniques.
Students also learn to communicate confidently on camera, respond flexibly to unexpected situations during filming and work closely with the production team. Through regular practice, they progress from relying on scripts to engaging with their audience naturally and confidently.
From Campus Broadcasting to the Professional Airwaves
During the 2025/26 school year, the English Anchors extended their experience beyond the school campus by taking part in a Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) programme. Students performed in an English-language radio drama and were interviewed by a native-speaking presenter, demonstrating their communication skills, creativity and confidence in a professional broadcasting environment.
This valuable experience enabled students to progress from presenting school programmes to working in a professional studio and sharing their voices with a wider audience.

Time to Talk 公開演說
從敢說到善說，讓每一個觀點都能被聽見
Time to Talk 公開演說訓練鼓勵學生運用英語分享個人經歷、意念和觀點。在外籍英語老師的專業指導下，學生從選取題材、構思內容、組織講稿到反覆演練，逐步掌握完整的演說過程。
外籍英語老師透過示範及具體回饋，協助學生改善發音、語調、說話節奏、眼神交流、面部表情及肢體語言。學生不只是背誦講稿，而是學習理解內容、投入感情，並按照演說目的及觀眾反應傳遞信息。
訓練著重培養「有內容、有條理、有自信」的英語表達。學生學習克服緊張，運用自己的聲音感染觀眾，並在不同場合清晰而有說服力地表達個人想法。

Time to Talk
Finding Their Voice and Making It Heard
The Time to Talk Public Speaking Programme encourages students to share their experiences, ideas and perspectives in English. With professional guidance from native-speaking English teachers, students work through every stage of speech development—from selecting a meaningful topic and generating ideas to structuring their content, writing their speech and refining it through repeated practice.
Through demonstrations and focused feedback, native-speaking English teachers help students improve their pronunciation, intonation, pace, eye contact, facial expressions and body language. Rather than simply memorising a script, students learn to understand and connect with their content, speak with genuine expression, and adapt their delivery to the purpose of the speech and the response of the audience.
The programme develops students’ ability to communicate in English with substance, clarity and confidence. They learn to manage nervousness, use their voices to engage an audience, and express their ideas clearly and persuasively in a range of settings.

DEBATE 英文辯論隊
以邏輯發聲，以自信領航
英文辯論隊成立於2018/19學年，致力為具英語潛能的學生提供高水平、具挑戰性的思維與語言訓練平台。
辯論隊每年經選拔，由12至15位小四至小六學生組成。本地及外籍英語老師共同帶領每週的系統性訓練，指導隊員分析辯題、蒐集資料、建構論點、預測對方立場、回應質疑及進行即時反駁。
外籍英語老師亦協助學生提升英語表達的準確性、流暢度及說服力，並透過模擬辯論、即時提問及賽後回饋，培養隊員的臨場應變及策略思維。
本校深信，辯論不只是一場語言競賽，更是一段全方位的成長旅程。學生在反覆的思考、討論及實戰中，學習尊重不同觀點、以理據支持立場，並在壓力與質疑中保持冷靜和自信。

六年連續奪冠
英文辯論隊自成立以來，在全港不同英語辯論賽事中屢創佳績。由2020/21至2025/26學年，隊伍連續六年在全港賽事中取得最少一項總冠軍，多位隊員更榮獲「最佳辯論員」殊榮。
DEBATE
Speaking with Reason, Leading with Confidence : Developing Critical Thinkers and Confident Communicators
Established in the 2018/19 school year, the English Debate Team provides students with strong potential in English with an intellectually demanding platform for advanced language development and critical thinking.
Each year, 12 to 15 students from Primary 4 to Primary 6 are selected to join the team. Through structured weekly training led jointly by local and native-speaking English teachers, team members learn to analyse motions, conduct research, construct well-supported arguments, anticipate opposing viewpoints, respond to challenges and deliver spontaneous rebuttals.
Native-speaking English teachers also help students develop greater accuracy, fluency and persuasiveness in spoken English. Mock debates, impromptu questioning and focused post-debate feedback further strengthen their strategic thinking and ability to respond effectively under pressure.
At our school, debating is more than a language competition; it is a valuable journey of personal and intellectual growth. Through continuous reflection, discussion and practical experience, students learn to respect different perspectives, support their views with sound reasoning, and remain composed and confident when their ideas are challenged.

Champions for Six Consecutive Years
Since its establishment, the English Debate Team has consistently achieved outstanding results in territory-wide English debating competitions. From the 2020/21 to 2025/26 school years, the team won at least one overall championship each year for six consecutive years. A number of team members have also received Best Debater awards.
