KYS Musical  為本校每年舉辦的重點英語藝術項目。活動以英語、音樂與戲劇整合為基礎，並結合校本核心價值，為學生提供有系統而持續的舞台學習經歷。

每年的英語音樂劇均圍繞不同主題發展，融入本校核心價值（如尊重、責任感、關愛與堅毅等）。除了參與演出的學生外，全校學生亦透過與英語音樂劇主題相關的跨學科學習活動及課堂延伸內容，理解並實踐核心價值，使價值教育成為全校共同參與的學習歷程。

學生在排練、學習與演出過程中，不僅提升英語表達與舞台表現能力，更培養合作精神、承擔態度及自我要求。

學校安排多元演出機會，讓學生在真實舞台環境中應用所學，建立自信，提升溝通能力，並累積寶貴的演出經驗。

The KYS Musical  is one of our school’s annual signature English arts programmes. Built upon the integration of English, music and drama, it provides students with a structured and sustained stage learning experience aligned with our school’s core values.

Each year, the English Musical is developed around a different theme, integrating our school’s core values, including respect, responsibility, love and care, and perseverance. Beyond the cast members, all students benefit through cross-curricular learning activities and classroom extensions connected to the musical theme. In this way, value education becomes a shared whole-school learning journey.

Through rehearsals, related learning experiences and performances, students not only strengthen their English communication skills and stage presence, but also develop teamwork, accountability and a strong sense of commitment.

Programme Features

1 | Integration of Core Values

The English Musical is closely aligned with our school’s value education framework. Its themes are extended into subject learning and school-based activities, enabling all students to deepen their understanding and practice of core values through diverse learning experiences.

2 | Cross-curricular Integration | Whole-school Participation

The English Musical is organically connected with subject learning. Different panels collaborate in its implementation, and students at various levels participate in different capacities, fostering a whole-school culture of engagement.

3 | Authentic Stage Experience

Students are provided with diverse performance opportunities to apply their learning in authentic stage settings. Through these experiences, they build confidence, enhance communication skills and accumulate valuable performance experience.
