本校學生於「2025–2026 年度元朗區小學校際游泳比賽」中表現出色，在來自 46 間小學的激烈競爭中，憑藉堅毅精神與穩定發揮，合共奪得 21 項獎項，成績令人鼓舞。
與去年同期取得的 17 項獎項相比，本年度整體表現進一步提升，展現學生持續進步的成果與團隊精神。當中，本校更首次勇奪男子乙組 4×50 米自由泳接力冠軍及男子乙組團體總冠軍，刷新學校於該項賽事的最佳成績，別具意義。

🏊♂️Outstanding Achievements in the Inter-School Swimming Competition🏆 20/5/2026
Our students delivered an impressive performance in the “2025–2026 Yuen Long District Inter-School Swimming Competition”. Competing against swimmers from 46 primary schools, they demonstrated perseverance, determination, and consistent performance throughout the competition, achieving a total of 21 awards.
Compared with the 17 awards achieved in the previous year, this year’s results marked a further improvement, reflecting the students’ continuous progress and strong team spirit. Most notably, our school captured the Boys Grade B 4×50m Freestyle Relay Championship and the Boys Grade B Overall Team Championship for the first time, setting a new school record in the competition and making this achievement especially meaningful.
These accomplishments would not have been possible without the dedicated guidance and support of our coaches and teachers, as well as the continuous encouragement from parents. Their unwavering support has enabled our students to grow through training and competition, while fully developing their potential.

🏕️ 春季全方位學習（教育日營及教育營）🏕️ 4/5/2026
隨着春意漸濃，3 月 25 日至 4 月 1 日期間，學習的步伐由課室延伸至廣闊的營地與大自然，讓同學在真實情境中豐富學習經歷。
是次活動按年級需要，分別安排教育日營（一至三年級）及三日兩夜教育營（四至六年級）。從初小學生的感官探索，到高小學生的獨立挑戰與團隊協作，同學們在多元體驗中留下深刻而寶貴的成長足印。
初小組：探索自然與感官（教育日營）
P1 粉嶺鶴藪綠田園
一年級同學親身接觸泥土，參與田務體驗，並學習製作再造紙及有機麵包。在師生共進午膳的溫馨時光中，培養珍惜食物與善用自然資源的態度。
P2 香港海洋公園
二年級同學化身「小科學家」，參與多元化的自然體驗課程。透過觀察國寶及海洋生物，以及參與「海岸大歷險」活動，加強保育海洋及尊重生命的意識。
P3 老友記慈善農莊及貝澳
三年級同學走訪農莊與海灘，認識有機耕種，並體驗製作環保酵素。其後前往貝澳與水牛近距離接觸，並參與淨灘活動，以實際行動實踐環境保護的理念。
高小組：獨立挑戰與團隊協作（三日兩夜教育營）
P4 香港傷健協會賽馬會傷健營
四年級同學首次體驗營舍生活。透過破冰活動及團隊挑戰，學習有效溝通與合作；而共融教育活動及夜行體驗，則培養同理心，並提升面對挑戰的勇氣。
P5 賽馬會長洲鮑思高青年中心
五年級同學迎接「生活大挑戰」。首晚於星空下露營，親身體驗營地烹飪；翌晚轉為宿營。透過低結構歷奇活動，同學在自然環境中突破自我，提升解難能力與適應力。
P6 香港青年獎勵計劃賽馬會愛丁堡公爵訓練營
六年級的畢業營充滿挑戰與成長。在富中國文化特色的定向追蹤活動及林村文化探索活動中加深對文化的認識；於攀石活動中挑戰自我；並在壓軸班級表演中展現團隊精神。三天的珍貴經歷，為小學生活畫上難忘而圓滿的句號。
🏕️ Spring Experiential Learning Programme (Day Camps & Overnight Educational Camp) 🏕️ 4/5/2026
As spring unfolds, from 25 March to 1 April, learning extended beyond the classroom to expansive camp sites and the natural environment, enriching students’ learning through authentic experiences.
The programme was thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of each level, with day camps arranged for Primary 1–3 students and a three-day, two-night residential camp for Primary 4–6 students. From sensory exploration in the lower primary to independence and teamwork challenges in the upper primary, students created meaningful and lasting learning memories.
Lower Primary: Exploring Nature and the Senses (Day Camps)
P1 – Hok Tau Green Field
Primary 1 students explored nature through hands-on farming activities, including soil exploration, recycled paper-making, and organic bread-making. Sharing lunch with teachers also fostered an appreciation for food and natural resources.
P2 – Ocean Park Hong Kong
Primary 2 students took on the role of “young scientists” in a variety of experiential learning programmes. Through observing giant pandas and marine life, as well as participating in the “Coastal Adventure” activity, they developed a stronger awareness of marine conservation and respect for life.
P3 – 'Senior Buddy Charity Farm' & Pui O Beach
Primary 3 students visited both a farm and the beach, learning about organic farming and making eco-enzymes. They also had close encounters with water buffalo in Pui O and took part in a beach clean-up, putting environmental protection into action.
Upper Primary: Independence and Teamwork (3D2N Overnight Educational Camp)
P4 – Jockey Club PHAB Camp
Primary 4 students experienced residential camp life for the first time. Through ice-breaking activities and team challenges, they developed communication and collaboration skills. Inclusive education activities and a night walk also helped cultivate empathy and build courage.
P5 – Jockey Club Cheung Chau Don Bosco Youth Centre
Primary 5 students took on a “Life Challenge”. They camped under the stars on the first night and prepared their own meals, followed by a stay in dormitories on the second night. Through low-structure adventure activities, they stepped out of their comfort zones and strengthened their problem-solving and adaptability skills.
P6 – HKAYP Jockey Club Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp
The Primary 6 graduation camp was filled with challenges and growth. Students explored Chinese culture through orienteering and the Lam Tsuen cultural tour, challenged themselves on the climbing wall, and showcased strong teamwork in the final class performance. These three days of valuable experiences marked a memorable and meaningful conclusion to their primary school journey.

本校機械人校隊於4月18日遠赴中山，參加「粵港澳 VEX 機器人挑戰賽 暨 廣東省青少年國防科技創新大賽中山市選拔賽」，再創佳績！
在競爭激烈的 VEX IQ 項目中，隊員憑藉穩定的臨場表現及精湛的技術，在眾多參賽隊伍中脫穎而出，榮獲 Tournament Outstanding Award，成績令人鼓舞！
除了獲得獎項的肯定，更可貴的是比賽過程中的交流與學習。隊員與來自粵港澳不同學校的參賽者積極互動、彼此切磋，充分展現優秀的團隊合作精神。

🤖 Robotics Team Returns in Triumph! Tournament Outstanding Award 🏆 4/5/2026
On 18 April, our school’s Robotics Team travelled to Zhongshan to participate in the “Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao VEX Robotics Challenge cum Zhongshan Selection Contest of the Guangdong Youth National Defence Science and Technology Innovation Competition”, achieving another excellent result!
Competing in the highly competitive VEX IQ category, our team stood out among numerous participating teams with their stable performance and outstanding technical skills, and was awarded the Tournament Outstanding Award—a truly encouraging achievement!
Beyond the recognition of the award, what proved even more valuable was the opportunity for exchange and learning throughout the competition. Our students actively engaged with participants from schools across Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, learning from one another and demonstrating exceptional teamwork.

At the beginning of January, our Visual Arts Department organised a Creative Fai Chun Design Activity to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year!
During the lessons, students showcased their creativity by using a variety of craft materials to design colourful blessing banners filled with festive wishes.
Together, they decorated their classrooms with their handmade creations, bringing warmth, joy, and a vibrant festive atmosphere to our campus!

Congratulations to 6D student Lau Chun Yin for his outstanding performance at the 2nd “Code Master” Programming Competition, where he was awarded the Bronze Award!
Organised by Shun Tak Fraternal Association Yung Yau College, the competition required students to apply their Python programming skills on site and take part in AI interactive challenges.
Through a “learning through competition” approach, students demonstrated strong logical thinking and coding abilities.

於 1 月 27 日及 28 日，校園電視台迎來一班特別嘉賓——家長到校參觀校園電視台。
家長與科學科主播一同走進錄影室；
了解校園節目的拍攝與製作流程；
透過節目內容認識火山相關的科學知識。
實驗環節
活動中，家長更獲邀參與直播節目拍攝，與學生主播一同進行 迷你火山實驗。
透過簡單材料——梳打粉、食用色素、醋及洗潔精，將課堂中的科學概念轉化為即場可觀察、可操作的學習體驗。
節目中，學生學習火山爆發的成因；
實驗中，觀察物質由下而上的反應過程；
家長亦分享對實驗原理及化學反應的理解。
校園電視台不只是觀看節目的平台，
更是一個讓 家長參與、學生動手、共同學習 的學習空間。
🌋📺👨👩👧 Campus TV × Science Mini Experiment | Live Experience 5/2/2026
On 27 and 28 January, our Campus TV welcomed some special guests — parents visiting the Campus TV studio .
Parents joined our student anchors from the Science subject in the recording studio;
Learned how campus programmes are filmed and produced;
Explored volcano-related science concepts through the programme content.
Experiment Time:
During the activity, parents were invited to take part in the filming and work together with student anchors to carry out a mini volcano experiment .
Using simple materials — baking soda, food colouring, vinegar and detergent — classroom science concepts were brought to life through hands-on, observable learning.
Through the programme, students learned why volcanoes erupt;
Through the experiment, they observed reactions moving upward from below;
Parents also shared their understanding of the experiment’s principles and chemical reactions.
Campus TV is not just a platform for watching programmes, but a space where parents participate, students experiment, and learning happens together.
🎯🤝 六年級 班級經營活動｜團隊合作大挑戰 🏗️ 3/2/2026
為培養學生的團隊合作精神與溝通能力，本校特別為六年級同學安排了一系列充滿挑戰與樂趣的班級經營活動 ，包括「扭扭樂」、「氣墊球機」及「合力建塔」。活動中，同學們分組合作，在有限時間內共同策劃、互相協調，合力完成各項任務 。
於「合力建塔」環節中，學生需透過有效溝通，把材料逐一運送至塔頂，合力建構最高的塔。在不同挑戰規則下，同學需發揮創意與默契，彼此配合完成任務。透過此活動，同學不但學會尊重彼此意見，更深刻體會團隊精神與合作的重要性，為班級建立更緊密的連結。
🎯🤝 Primary 6 Class-building Activity | Teamwork Challenge 🏗️ 3/2/2026
To foster students’ teamwork and communication skills, our school organised a series of fun and engaging class-building activities for our Primary 6 students, including Twister, the Air-cushion Ball Game, and the Tower-Building Challenge. During the activities, students worked in groups, planned together, and cooperated closely to complete each task within a limited time.
In the Tower-Building Challenge, students needed to communicate effectively and work as a team to transport materials to the top and build the tallest tower possible. With added challenges, students demonstrated creativity, coordination, and strong team spirit. Through these hands-on experiences, students learnt to respect one another’s ideas, appreciate the value of collaboration, and strengthen their class bonding in a joyful learning environment.

同學們積極參與講座，認識能源效益、節約能源及可再生能源等主題，加深對能源效益的認識，並提升在日常生活中實踐節能減碳的意識。
同學亦利用平板電腦探索多個能源相關網站，包括能源資訊園地、能源標籤網、香港可再生能源網、香港節能網及機電工程署網站，並透過互動小遊戲，在輕鬆有趣的體驗中學習能源知識！

Our school participated in the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Outreach Education Programme organised by the Energy Efficiency Office (EEO) of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) . The programme featured engaging exhibitions and talks packed with practical knowledge!
Students actively joined the talks and learned about topics such as energy efficiency, energy conservation, and renewable energy. The activities deepened their understanding of energy-related concepts and enhanced their awareness of energy saving and carbon reduction practices in daily life.
Students also used tablets to explore various energy-related websites, including the Energy Information Hub, Energy Label Website, Hong Kong Renewable Energy Website, Hong Kong Energy Saving Website, and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department website. Through interactive games, students enjoyed a fun and engaging learning experience!

走進金庸的武俠世界 🥋🎨｜沙田文・藝之旅 26/1/2026
早前，五年級同學完成了一次結合文學、藝術與社區觀察的學習旅程。
同學們參觀了 香港文化博物館的金庸館，透過展品與介紹，認識金庸筆下的經典人物與武俠文化，並從故事中了解俠義精神與其所承載的價值觀。過程中，同學表現投入，對中國文學與文化展現濃厚興趣。
隨後，同學走進大圍社區，進行實地觀察與拍攝，化身為細心的「城市觀察者」，以鏡頭記錄社區風貌與日常細節。相關照片其後亦延伸至視覺藝術課堂，作為「一點透視法」創作的素材，讓學生把生活經驗轉化為藝術表達，深化對空間與美感的理解。
是次活動透過跨學科與體驗式學習安排，讓同學在閱讀、觀察與創作之間建立連繫，豐富學習經歷，也拓展了課堂以外的視野。
Experiential Learning Activity for Primary 5 Chinese Language and Visual Arts: Into the World of Jin Yong 🥋🎨｜Sha Tin Cultural & Arts Learning Journey 26/1/2026
Recently, our P5 students took part in a meaningful learning journey that thoughtfully integrated literature, visual arts, and community exploration.
The visit to the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, including the Jin Yong Gallery, allowed students to explore the cultural significance of Jin Yong’s martial arts novels. Through curated exhibits and guided explanations, students gained a deeper understanding of classic characters, the spirit of chivalry, and the values embedded within Chinese literary traditions. Their engagement and curiosity throughout the visit were clearly evident.
The learning experience then extended into the Tai Wai community, where students became keen “urban observers,” capturing everyday scenes and unique neighbourhood details through photography.
These images were later used as learning materials in Visual Arts lessons, supporting students’ application of the one-point perspective technique to reinterpret urban spaces through artistic expression.
Through this cross-curricular and experiential learning approach, students were encouraged to connect reading, observation, and creativity in an authentic context. The journey enriched their learning experiences beyond the classroom and helped broaden their cultural and artistic perspectives.

Our Chinese Dance Team, made up of 16 students from P3 to P6, delivered a wonderful performance with the Han dance “Lanterns Shining on Childlike Hearts” at the 62nd Schools Dance Festival, earning the Highly Commended Award.

Our school was honoured to be invited by the Golf Association of Hong Kong, China to take part in the Hong Kong Golf Open Guided Tour on 30 October .
This activity provided students with the opportunity to observe an international-level golf tournament at close range, broadening their horizons and deepening their understanding of the sport.
Through the professional guided tour, students gained further insights into competition procedures and spectator etiquette, while learning the importance of focus and positive sportsmanship .
This valuable experience not only enriched students’ learning experiences but also allowed them to apply what they had learned beyond the classroom, supporting their holistic development and making it a truly meaningful and rewarding learning activity.

本校三年級學生早前到訪 香港濕地公園，展開一趟結合觀察與探索的生態學習旅程。
同學們近距離認識 紅樹林、候鳥及多樣化的濕地生物，並透過實地觀察，學習動植物的特徵、棲息地及其生態互動，從而了解濕地在維持 生物多樣性 與生態平衡中的重要角色。
在學習過程中，學生不但加深了對自然環境的認識，更把所見所聞轉化為行動意識，立下承諾—— 愛護環境、守護濕地，從日常生活中實踐環保理念。

Our Primary 3 students recently visited Hong Kong Wetland Park for an immersive eco-learning experience beyond the classroom.
Through close observation of mangroves, migratory birds, and diverse wetland wildlife, students explored the characteristics of plants and animals, their habitats, and ecological interactions, gaining a clearer understanding of the vital role wetlands play in sustaining biodiversity and ecological balance.
The visit also encouraged students to reflect on their responsibility towards nature. Inspired by what they learned, they made a shared commitment to protect the environment and conserve wetlands through everyday actions.

Our students recently participated in the Thoughtful Reading: Sharing Insights in Cantonese, Putonghua and English Competition for Primary Students (2025), organised by SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School. Through steady language performance and careful preparation, the team was awarded the Best Team Award, an encouraging achievement that reflects their collective effort.
The competition covered Cantonese, Putonghua and English categories. During the event, students demonstrated sound reading comprehension and effective language use, showcasing their continued development in biliteracy and trilingualism.

🚀 一飛衝天火箭車比賽｜STEAM 體驗學習成果分享 15/1/2026
本校學生早前參加了「屯元天小學 STEAM 比賽 —— 一飛衝天火箭車」，在真實情境中把課堂所學轉化為實踐。
比賽中，學生以 4 人一隊 的形式進行協作學習，從中認識 流體力學 的基本原理 ，並即場設計及製作風阻較低的火箭車 ，與其他學校隊伍比拼火箭車的行駛速率，充分展現團隊合作與工程思維。
在多隊參賽隊伍中，本校學生表現穩定，火箭車最高時速分別達 46.87 km/h 及 49.45 km/h，最終榮獲 優異獎，成果令人欣賞 。
是次比賽讓學生把課堂所學的 STEAM 知識應用於實際情境，並在設計、測試與改良的過程中，培養解難能力與創意思維 ，為他們的學習歷程增添寶貴經驗。
🚀 Soaring Rocket Cars STEAM Competition｜Learning Highlights 15/1/2026
Our students recently participated in the “ Soaring Rocket Cars” STEAM Competition for primary schools in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai, where classroom learning was brought into an authentic, hands-on context.
Working in teams of four, students explored key principles of fluid dynamics and designed aerodynamic rocket cars on site, aiming to minimise air resistance and maximise speed while competing with teams from other schools.
Demonstrating steady performance and effective teamwork, our students’ rocket cars reached speeds of 46.87 km/h and 49.45 km/h, earning them the Merit Award .
Through this experiential STEAM learning opportunity, students applied theoretical knowledge through iterative design and testing, further strengthening their problem-solving skills, creativity and innovative thinking . It was a meaningful and rewarding learning journey .
常識百科校隊「美荷樓社區與文化探索之旅」🏘️📚 15/1/2026
本校常識百科校隊於 12 月 11 日 到訪 美荷樓，透過參觀文物、建築及主題展覽，回顧 1950 年代至今 的社區發展與生活面貌。
在探索過程中，學生從徙置區歷史、空間設計以至居民日常生活，認識香港社區環境的變遷與人文特色的演變；同時了解 物質文化遺產（如公共屋邨建築、家居物件）與 非物質文化遺產（如社區習俗、集體記憶）的意義與承傳方式。
是次體驗引導同學反思如何在日常生活中守護城市記憶、延續社區故事，並以行動關懷身邊的文化脈絡，深化學以致用的學習歷程。
General Studies Elite Team – Mei Ho House Community & Culture Exploration🏘️📚 15/1/2026
On 11 December, our General Studies Elite Team visited Mei Ho House to explore historical artefacts, architectural features, and themed exhibitions tracing community life from the 1950s to the present.
Through close observation of resettlement history, spatial design, and everyday living scenes, students gained insights into changes in Hong Kong’s community environment and human landscape. They also learned about the value and preservation of both tangible cultural heritage (e.g. public housing architecture and household objects) and intangible cultural heritage (e.g. community customs and collective memories).
The visit encouraged students to reflect on how urban memories can be sustained and community stories carried forward in daily life, reinforcing applied learning through authentic experience.
🌟 讓愛傳出去．愛在聖誕延續🌟 23/12/2025
在這個充滿愛與希望的季節裡，本校於 12 月 23 日舉行了「讓愛傳出去 Love Goes On」聖誕主題活動，讓學生在節日氣氛中學習關愛與分享。
活動內容包括：
聖誕捐贈活動：學生參與香港地球之友舊衣回收計劃，捐贈舊衣物及玩具，將愛心送給有需要的家庭。
食物分享活動：透過互動活動，學生學習珍惜食物的重要性，並實踐可持續飲食的理念。
英語聖誕故事：外籍老師及英文老師透過聖誕故事，引導學生認識關愛他人的重要性。
關懷卡設計：學生親手設計關懷卡，送上溫暖祝福，表達關愛之情。
關愛聖誕歌拍攝：各級學生錄製關愛聖誕歌片段，精彩花絮稍後於 Instagram 分享。
是次活動讓學生體驗關愛的力量，培養社會責任感，並把愛與希望延續下去。
🌟 Love Goes On – Spreading Care This Christmas🌟 23/12/2025
On 23 December, our school organised the 'Love Goes On' Christmas Activity, providing students with meaningful learning experiences centred on sharing, gratitude, and care within a festive atmosphere.
Throughout the day, students took part in a range of thoughtfully designed activities:
Christmas Donation
Students donated pre-loved clothes and toys through the Used Clothes Recycling Programme organised by Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong), learning about reuse, sustainability, and caring for the community.
Food Sharing
Through guided activities, students reflected on the value of food, cultivating habits of cherishing resources and practising sustainable eating.
English Christmas Stories
Students explored festive stories in English, deepening their understanding of themes such as love, kindness, and care for others.
Caring Card Design
Students created Christmas cards to express warm wishes and positive messages, translating care into creative expression.
Caring Christmas Song Video
Each level recorded a song segment, which was later compiled and shared on Instagram, conveying collective goodwill and festive joy.
The event enabled students to experience the joy of giving while strengthening their sense of social responsibility and empathy.
We sincerely thank all staff and students who contributed to making this Christmas activity a meaningful and memorable experience.

本校學生代表日前完成參觀香港電台廣播大樓，並參與普通話台節目《新人類・大世界》的現場直播訪問，分享在 STEM 學習及校園電視台方面的學習經驗。活動讓學生有機會走進專業媒體環境，親身體驗廣播製作及現場訪談的實際運作。
一直以來，本校在 STEAM 教育方面持續發展，學生曾於不同學界比賽中獲得肯定，包括香港學界創意紙飛機競技大賽一等獎、全港學生 STEAM 精英挑戰賽優異獎，以及全港一生一發明創意設計大賽創新發明獎等。相關經驗不僅有助學生鞏固學科知識，亦促進他們將所學應用於不同學習情境之中。
在節目中，教師及學生代表介紹了學校 STEAM 課程的設計理念，以及校園電視台的學習歷程。學生於現場訪問中表現自然，能因應提問作出回應，展現平日學習所累積的溝通能力與臨場應變能力。透過參與課堂活動、實作任務及比賽，學生在團隊合作中實踐解難方法，逐步建立對 STEM 學習的興趣與信心。

Behind the Scenes at RTHK 🎙️ Students Share Their STEAM Learning and Campus TV Experience 19/12/2025
Student representatives from our school recently visited the Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Broadcasting House and participated in a live interview on the Putonghua Channel programme “New People • Big World”. The students shared their learning experiences in STEM and the School Campus TV programme, gaining valuable exposure to professional broadcasting.
During the programme, teachers and students introduced the school’s STEAM learning approach and Campus TV experience. The students responded confidently and appropriately to the host’s questions, demonstrating effective communication skills developed through classroom learning, hands-on activities and team-based tasks.
Through regular Campus TV training, students engage in information gathering, programme hosting and production work, fostering their ability to integrate information technology and oral communication in authentic learning contexts.

On 2 December, our school held an assembly for junior form students and was honoured to welcome staff from the Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association to share with our students.
Through engaging talks and real-life examples, students learned about the important work and mission of guide dogs, as well as gained a deeper understanding of the daily lives of people with visual impairments.
The activity not only enriched students’ knowledge, but also conveyed the core values of respect, harmony, and inclusion. By learning to care for others from a young age, students are encouraged to help build a warmer and more empathetic society.

Teachers and students visited the Hong Kong Coliseum to watch the U22 Basketball Competition of the National Games, experiencing the exciting matchups between teams from various regions up close. The students admired the athletes’ agility, speed, and refined skills on the court, which gave them a deeper appreciation of the sport’s appeal.
Through this experience, they not only strengthened their understanding of basketball rules and strategies but were also inspired by the players’ teamwork and perseverance. Students attended the Fencing Competition of The 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China at Kai Tak Sports Park, where they observed outstanding performances by Hong Kong athletes, including Cheung Ka Long, Ryan Choi Chun Yin, Lawrence Ng Lok Wang and Leung Chin Yu.
Through this valuable learning experience, students gained a deeper understanding of fencing rules, techniques, and sports etiquette. More importantly, they witnessed the athletes’ perseverance, discipline, teamwork, and exemplary sportsmanship in action.
Inspired by the dedication and fighting spirit of the Hong Kong team, our students returned with strengthened confidence and a renewed motivation to challenge themselves — proudly cheering on Team Hong Kong throughout the event.

🎃👻 多元文化活動日：萬聖節英語活動 👻🎃 31/10/2025
為提升學生對英語學習的興趣，並加深對多元文化的認識，本校於10月31日舉行了以萬聖節為主題的多元文化活動日。當日活動內容豐富多彩，包括萬聖節時裝表演、英語詞彙尋寶遊戲、攤位遊戲、手工創作、解謎遊戲及校內朗誦比賽（粵語、普通話及英文）。
學生穿上各式創意服飾，化身為小巫師、小吸血鬼或可愛的南瓜人，投入於不同英語互動環節中，邊玩邊學，氣氛熱烈。
今年活動特別新增「萬聖節攤位遊戲」，學生興奮地穿梭於各個遊戲區內，挑戰英語拼字、配對及角色對話等任務。每完成一項任務，孩子們都露出滿足又自豪的笑容，充分展現出積極參與和勇於表達的精神。老師們亦即時給予鼓勵與讚賞，現場歡笑聲此起彼落，洋溢着節日的喜悅。

🎃👻 Multicultural Activity Day: Halloween English Fun! 👻🎃 31/10/2025
To enhance students’ interest in learning English and deepen their understanding of different cultures, our school held a Multicultural Activity Day on 31st October, themed around Halloween.
The day was filled with fun and excitement — students joined a Halloween Fashion Show, English word hunt, booth games, craft-making, puzzle-solving activities, and School-based Speech Festival in Chinese, Putonghua & English. Dressed as little witches, vampires, and pumpkins, students took part in a variety of interactive English activities, learning while having fun!
A new highlight this year was the Halloween Booth Games, where students eagerly explored each game zone to complete English challenges such as spelling, matching, and role-play dialogues. Every time they finished a task, their faces lit up with pride and joy — showing confidence, enthusiasm, and a love of learning. Teachers joined in the fun, giving instant encouragement and applause, filling the campus with laughter and festive spirit.

Several of our school’s STEM-related teams took part in “InnoCarnival 2025”, organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission on 18 October. This year’s theme — “I&T Unlocks Your Dream” — highlighted cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence and ecological environment, showcasing a wide range of creative inventions and scientific achievements.
Our participating teams included the Junior Engineers Team (STEM), Programming Class, and VEX IQ Robotics Team. Students enthusiastically joined booth activities, interactive games, and hands-on workshops, gaining a deeper understanding of how innovation and technology connect with our daily lives.

To provide students with hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom, our school organised an Outdoor Learning Day on 17 October. Students from different year levels explored various destinations to learn about nature, culture, and community engagement.
P1 – West Kowloon Cultural District
Students enjoyed guided tours and art observation activities to appreciate local culture and creativity.
P2 – Tai Lam Country Park
Students explored the natural environment and learned about plants and wildlife, developing an awareness of environmental protection.
P3 – Tai Po Waterfront Park
Through outdoor exploration, students observed natural features and learned the importance of environmental conservation.
P4 – HKFYG Organic Farm
Students experienced organic farming and learned about food sources and sustainable living.
P5 – Tai Mei Tuk BBQ Site & Lung Mei Beach
Students participated in group activities and coastal learning tasks, strengthening teamwork and environmental awareness.
P6 – Shenzhen (Mainland Exchange Programme: Nature and Cultural Exploration)
Students explored Shenzhen’s ancient volcanic landscapes, rocks, and minerals to understand environmental conservation. They also visited Dapeng Fortress to gain insights into local history and the importance of cultural heritage preservation.
This outdoor learning experience allowed students to connect with the world around them, apply classroom knowledge in real-life settings, and cultivate respect for nature and cultural heritage.

Our school is honoured to receive the Outstanding School Award: Silver Award in the SportsHour “Better Youths Through Sports Award 2024–25”, organised by the InspiringHK Sports Foundation (IHKSports).
The award was launched to recognise local primary schools that actively promote student physical activity. Competing for the prestigious Outstanding School Award, all entries were assessed on creativity, inclusiveness, and sustained impact by a panel of five professional judges from the fields of education, technological innovation, arts, and sports. The results highlight how school-led initiatives can effectively shape healthy habits among children and youth.
Over the past two years, our school has organised a diverse range of sports activities, including the Annual Sports Day, “Move It at Recess”, Traditional Chinese Sports on Chinese Culture Day, Mölkky on Mathematics Day, and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. ✨ At the beginning of the new school year, let us take a moment to look back on our students’ outstanding performances at last year’s Music Festival. At the 77th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, our students achieved remarkable results with their solid musical foundation and outstanding performance skills. Our school’s English Debate Team delivered an outstanding performance in the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition (HKSSDC). The team remained undefeated in the preliminary rounds, advancing to the finals, where they ultimately claimed the championship title.

📚 喜閱同樂日 —— 閱讀‧文化‧連繫 16/6/2025
4月30日，本校舉辦了一年一度的「喜閱同樂日」，以一系列富創意的體驗式閱讀活動，開拓學生視野，激發他們對閱讀的熱愛。在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中，學生盡情投入，享受閱讀所帶來的樂趣與啟發。
當日活動內容豐富多元，其中一大亮點為故事人物扮演及延伸活動。學生化身為心愛的故事角色，透過生動的角色扮演，深入體驗故事情節，進一步提升理解能力，同時啟發創意思維，將閱讀轉化為一場豐富的探索之旅。
我們亦舉辦了以日本知名作家宮西達也繪本為主題的繪本故事及版畫工作坊，讓學生親身感受繪本的藝術魅力，並動手創作個人版畫作品，將想像力具體呈現於紙上。
活動當日特設中醫藥繪本及熊貓圖書講座，讓學生有機會接觸中醫的基本理念，並進一步加深對熊貓的了解，從中培養對中國文化的興趣。此外，本校的大哥哥、大姐姐亦擔任「伴讀大使」，與低年級同學共讀故事書，在溫馨互動中建立跨年級的閱讀連繫。
活動壓軸為親子尋書之旅，家長與孩子一同前往書店，為學校挑選圖書。這段旅程不僅加深親子間的情感交流，也讓孩子在書海中發掘屬於自己的閱讀喜好，營造家庭閱讀的氛圍。

On 30 April, our school hosted the much-anticipated Joyful Reading Day, a vibrant celebration filled with creative, hands-on reading activities designed to broaden students’ horizons and cultivate their love for reading. Set in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, students eagerly immersed themselves in the pleasures and inspirations that reading can offer.

Through immersive role-play, they explored storylines more deeply, enhanced their comprehension skills, and sparked their imagination—transforming reading into a meaningful and engaging journey.
We also organised a Picture Book and Printmaking Workshop themed around the works of renowned Japanese author Tatsuya Miyanishi. Students not only discovered the artistic charm of picture books but also created their own print art, bringing their creativity vividly to life.
On the day of the event, special sessions were arranged featuring Chinese medicine-themed picture books and a talk on panda-related literature. These activities provided students with the opportunity to learn about the basic concepts of traditional Chinese medicine and deepen their understanding of panda culture, nurturing their interest in Chinese heritage. In addition, our senior students served as “Reading Buddies,” sharing stories with younger schoolmates and building meaningful cross-grade reading connections through warm and engaging interactions.
The event concluded with a heartwarming Parent-Child Book Hunt, where families visited bookstores together to select new books for the school library. This meaningful experience not only strengthened parent–child relationships but also encouraged a lasting culture of reading at home.
Joyful Reading Day was more than just a celebration of books—it was a fusion of knowledge, culture, and emotional connection. We hope every student left the day feeling inspired, empowered, and ever more in love with the world of reading—a companion that will continue to guide them on their journey of growth.

🏊Swimming Team Shines at the Yuen Long District Inter-Primary Schools Competition 12/6/2025
The 2025 Yuen Long Inter-School Primary Swimming Competition was successfully held on 7–8 May. Our school sent a team of 33 student athletes, who demonstrated commendable performance across both individual and relay events.
This year, 47 primary schools took part in the competition, making Yuen Long the district with the highest number of participating schools and athletes in all of Hong Kong — a testament to the high level of competition and the significance of our achievements.

本校手鈴隊於《BELLPRINTS 手鈴國際大賽暨大師班 2025》中榮獲銅獎，為這支於本年度新成立的隊伍帶來正面肯定，也為學校的音樂發展注入新動力。
本校一直透過不同音樂隊伍——包括管弦樂隊、合唱團及木笛隊——推動學生多元化的音樂學習。今年，我們首次成立手鈴隊，讓學生接觸另一種具挑戰性與趣味性的音樂形式。手鈴隊成員來自四至六年級，在過去一學年中定期接受訓練，逐步掌握手鈴技巧，並培養出良好的合奏默契。
是次賽事以實體形式舉行，並設有大師班環節。參賽隊伍可在演奏後即時獲得評審專業指導，並有機會重演選段，加深演奏理解。
比賽由 Bellprints Handbell Supply 主辦，並邀得美國著名手鈴音樂家 Brenda Austin 女士 擔任首席評審及嘉賓作曲家，為活動增添寶貴專業啟發。
我們欣賞手鈴隊在首年所展現的積極投入與進步表現，並期望他們日後與其他音樂隊伍一同繼續發展，讓學生獲得更全面的音樂學習經歷。

Our Handbell Team, newly established this academic year, was awarded the Bronze Award at the BELLPRINTS International Handbell Competition cum Masterclass 2025. This recognition is a positive affirmation of the team’s efforts and adds a fresh dimension to our school’s musical development.
Alongside our established music groups—including the Orchestra, Choir, and Recorder Team—the Handbell Team offers students an alternative, hands-on music experience. Comprising Primary 4 to 6 students, the team has undergone regular training throughout the year, steadily building their technical skills and ensemble coordination.
The competition was held in person and included a masterclass segment. Participating teams received immediate professional feedback after their performance, with the opportunity to replay selected excerpts, deepening their musical understanding.
Organised by Bellprints Handbell Supply, the event featured Ms. Brenda Austin, a renowned American handbell musician, as the chief adjudicator and guest composer, enriching the learning experience with valuable artistic insight.
We appreciate the team’s commitment and progress in their first year, and we look forward to seeing them grow further alongside our other music groups—broadening students’ exposure to diverse and rewarding music education experiences.

🎊 4th Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition 3/6/2025
On 31 May, 6E student CHUNG MAN POK represented our school in the “4th Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition” and performed admirably in the Drone Operation Skills Challenge (Primary School Division), receiving a Second Prize along with a cash award of HKD $3,000.
The competition, commissioned by the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education and organised by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association, aims to promote students’ interest in aerospace technology and STEM applications. Chung demonstrated steady drone control skills and strong adaptability under pressure, earning high praise from the judging panel.
Congratulations to CHUNG MAN POK on his commendable achievement. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow and reach new milestones in the future.

🎉 2025 年周年匯演圓滿舉行！ 23/5/2025
本校於 5 月 17 日舉行一年一度的周年匯演，主題為「糖果世界」。全校師生共同籌備，讓學生在過程中累積經驗，發揮所長，並透過舞台展現自我。
是次匯演共匯聚 222 位來自小一至小六的學生，來自 11 支表演隊伍，節目內容涵蓋中國舞、K-pop 舞蹈、兒童舞、管弦樂團、低年級合唱團及木笛組等。今年亦新增手鈴隊及聲演隊（英語、粵語及普通話創意朗誦），讓節目更見多元，學生亦能在不同形式中展現溝通與協作能力。
壓軸節目為英語音樂劇《Charlie and the Chocolate Factory》，同學全情投入，專注演繹角色，展現信心與團隊精神，贏得觀眾熱烈掌聲。
此外，現場設有「糖果數量估算遊戲」及「KYS 打氣歌」環節，讓學生與家長一同參與，氣氛溫馨愉快。全體表演學生在歡呼與掌聲中謝幕，為本年度匯演畫上圓滿句號。

🎉 Annual Show 2025 – A Sweet Success! 23/5/2025
On 17 May, our school held its Annual Show under the theme “Candy World.” The event was the result of collective effort by teachers and students, providing opportunities for students to gain experience, express themselves, and grow through active participation.
A total of 222 students from Primary 1 to 6 took part, representing 11 different performance teams. The programme featured Chinese Dance, K-pop Dance, Children’s Dance, the School Orchestra, Junior Choir, and Recorder Group. The addition of the Handbell Team and the Voice Performance Team (trilingual creative recitation in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua) further enriched the programme and allowed students to practise communication and teamwork in different forms.
The final performance of the day was the English musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Students embraced their roles with focus and confidence, demonstrating team spirit and stage presence. Their performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The event also featured a Candy Estimation Game and the KYS Cheering Song, where students and parents joined in the fun, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. As all performers took their final bow, the show came to a memorable close.
We look forward to welcoming everyone again next year, as our students continue to take part, grow, and shine in their own unique ways. 🌟

Micro:bit Hovercraft Competition 6/5/2025
On May 3, our school’s STEAM team took part in the “Micro:bit Model Hovercraft Competition” organised by Semple Memorial Secondary School in collaboration with Trumptech. Competing alongside teams from various schools, students were required to design and build hovercrafts that could be controlled using micro:bit programming. The competition assessed performance in areas such as speed, control, and load-carrying capacity. With innovative designs and effective programming, our two school teams stood out among the 11 participating groups, earning the Champion and First Runner-up titles respectively.
The event provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply their technological knowledge in a hands-on setting, while highlighting the importance of problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.

在3月31日開始的一連三日內，本校舉辦了一系列別具意義的教育日營及教育營，旨在增強學生的實踐能力和團隊合作精神。各級學生分別參與了度身訂造的戶外學習活動，從中汲取知識與啟發，並在過程中建立自信與人際互動技巧。
一年級：學生們在綠田園基金進行農場參觀，體驗田務實習，並參加再造紙和有機麵包製作的活動，讓他們親身感受農業的樂趣。
二年級：在獅子會自然教育中心，學生認識自然界的動植物，增強對生態的理解與尊重。
三年級：學生們在貝澳及農莊進行淨灘活動，親近水牛並學習有機耕種，培養他們愛護自然的態度，並實踐環保理念。
四年級：在長洲明暉營，學生們挑戰各種個人任務，提升自信心及解決問題的能力，並學會面對挑戰。
五年級：在長洲鮑思高青年中心，學生們參加各種團隊合作活動，增進彼此的默契和合作能力。
六年級：在賽馬會愛丁堡公爵訓練營，學生們不僅學習領導與團隊合作，還為即將結束的小學學習生活留下美好的回憶。

🏕️Educational Day Camps and Overnight Camps 11/4/2025
From March 31 onwards, our school organised a series of meaningful educational day camps and overnight camps over three consecutive days. These programmes aimed to enhance students’ practical skills and foster a strong sense of teamwork. Each grade took part in specially designed outdoor learning experiences, where students gained valuable knowledge and inspiration, while building self-confidence and developing important interpersonal skills throughout the journey.
Our Primary One students visited the farm at the Produce Green Foundation, where they explored the farmland, engaged in farming tasks, and took part in paper recycling and organic bread-making workshops. These activities allowed them to experience the joy of agriculture firsthand.
Primary Two students visited the Lions Nature Education Centre, where they deepened their understanding of local flora and fauna, and developed greater respect for the natural environment.
Primary Three students took part in a beach clean-up and eco-farming experience in Pui O. They also interacted with water buffaloes and learned about sustainable farming, fostering their environmental awareness and love for nature.
Primary Four students attended a camp at Ming Fai Camp in Cheung Chau, where they tackled individual challenges that helped them build self-confidence and problem-solving skills while learning how to embrace difficulties.
Primary Five students joined a team-building camp at the J.C.C.C. Don Bosco Youth Centre in Cheung Chau. Through a series of collaborative activities, they developed stronger bonds with their peers and improved their ability to work effectively in a team.
Primary Six students participated in a leadership and teamwork training camp at the HKAYP Jockey Club Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp. This meaningful experience helped them build leadership qualities and teamwork, while creating lasting memories as they prepare to conclude their primary school journey.
These engaging and hands-on learning experiences have broadened our students’ horizons and supported their growth in various aspects — from social development to personal potential. We believe these valuable moments will become milestones in their educational journey, laying a solid foundation for future learning and inspiring them to face every new challenge with confidence.
✈️北京交流團 8/4/2025
本校師生於3月24日至28日前往北京，展開為期五天的文化交流之旅。是次行程內容豐富，讓學生在親身體驗中認識中華文化的多元面貌。學生先後參觀了故宮、頤和園等具有歷史價值的文化遺產，並登上萬里長城，從壯麗景色中感受歷史的厚重與民族的智慧。除了深入了解歷史，學生們亦走進北京當地小學，參與課堂活動，與當地學生交流學習心得，建立真摯友誼。
這次交流旅程不僅拓展了學生的歷史視野，更提升了他們對文化傳承與多元學習的認識。學生們回校後紛紛表示獲益良多，期望將這段寶貴經歷與校內同學分享，推動全校師生共同成長與進步。
✈️Beijing Cultural Exchange Tour 8/4/2025
From March 24 to 28, our teachers and students embarked on a five-day cultural exchange tour to Beijing. The trip offered a rich and diverse itinerary, allowing students to experience the depth and diversity of Chinese culture firsthand. Highlights of the journey included visits to culturally significant landmarks such as the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. Students also had the unforgettable opportunity to climb the Great Wall, where they experienced the grandeur of the historic site and gained a deeper appreciation of its cultural importance.
In addition to exploring historical heritage, our students visited a local primary school in Beijing, where they participated in classroom activities and engaged in meaningful exchanges with local teachers and students, forging genuine friendships across regions.
This valuable experience not only broadened students’ historical perspectives but also deepened their understanding of cultural heritage and diverse learning. Upon returning to school, students expressed how much they had gained from the trip and looked forward to sharing their insights with peers, helping to enrich the school’s learning atmosphere.
🧳台灣親子體驗遊學團 — 台北四天三夜學習之旅 2/4/2025
本校為一至三年級學生及家長舉辦的四天三夜台灣親子體驗遊學團已順利完成。是次旅程融合探索與學習元素，讓參加者在不同場景中獲得豐富經驗。
行程中，團員參觀了十分瀑布，親身感受大自然的景致；漫步夜市，體驗當地的生活文化；於台北動物園觀察各種動物生態，加深對自然的了解；在樹火紀念紙博物館動手參與造紙活動，感受傳統工藝的魅力；並在花婆婆生命繪本故事館的互動環節中，透過繪本打開想像之門。
這次親子旅程為學生與家長創造了共同學習與互動的空間，過程中建立了更深的連繫，也為彼此留下了難忘的回憶。
🧳Taiwan Parent-Child Experiential Learning Tour — A Four-Day Journey in Taipei 2/4/2025
Our four-day, three-night experiential learning tour to Taipei for P1 to P3 students and their parents has been successfully completed. The trip blended exploration with learning, offering meaningful experiences in a variety of settings.
During the journey, participants visited Shifen Waterfall to take in the natural beauty, explored the vibrant night markets to experience local culture, and observed animal habitats at Taipei Zoo to deepen their understanding of the natural world. At the Suho Paper Memorial Museum, students and parents took part in traditional paper-making, while interactive sessions at the Picture Book Life Garden sparked imagination and creativity through storytelling.
This tour provided valuable opportunities for shared learning and connection between students and parents, creating lasting memories and strengthening their bonds through meaningful experiences.

在第五屆「一生一發明創意設計大賽」中，本校學生展現了出色的創意思維與解難能力。3D班蘇柏睿同學以自家設計的《植物好幫手程式》榮獲初小組創意設計盃，作品不但構思新穎，亦切合生活需要，充分展現了學生將創意與科技結合的能力。
同時，學校亦獲頒「創新發明學校大獎」，是對我們積極培育學生創新精神的肯定。本校一向重視啟發學生潛能，鼓勵他們勇於嘗試，敢於創新，讓學習變得更有趣、更有意義。透過不同平台和比賽，我們致力為學生打造一個多元學習環境，讓每一位孩子都能找到屬於自己的發光舞台。
🏅The 5th One Student One Invention Innovative Design Contest 🎉1/4/2025
In the 5th One Student One Invention Innovative Design Contest, our students showcased exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills. SO PAK YUI from Class 3D was awarded the Lower Primary Creative Design Cup for his original project, the Plant Helper App. His invention stood out for its innovative concept and practical application, highlighting his ability to combine creativity with everyday technology.
Our school was also honoured with the Innovative Invention School Award, a recognition of our efforts in nurturing students' creative thinking and inventive spirit. We are committed to providing a learning environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and meaningful exploration. Through diverse platforms and competitions, we aim to help every student discover their strengths and shine in their own unique way.
🔬🖥️四至六年級科應科校外體驗式學習活動 1/4/2025
本校四至六年級學生早前參與了由萬鈞伯裘書院舉辦的科應科校外體驗式學習活動——「透過活的科學：促進中小學創意STEAM教育」，在充滿探索與挑戰的課程中，深入體驗了STEAM教育的多元面貌。活動設計結合實作與創新，學生需運用科學實驗套件、微型電腦板及傳感器等工具，完成一系列具創意的學習任務，從中理解科學原理及其在日常生活中的應用。
透過這種實境操作的學習方式，學生不但加深了對科學知識的掌握，更在過程中培養了解難能力、邏輯思維及團隊合作精神。是次活動有效銜接課堂與實踐，為學生日後進一步接觸STEAM領域奠下基礎，亦讓他們親身體會到科技與創意結合所帶來的學習樂趣。
🔬🖥️STEAM Experiential Learning Activity for Primary 4 to 6 Students 1/4/2025
Our Primary 4 to 6 students recently took part in a STEAM experiential learning activity titled “Science in ACTION : Facilitating STEAM education in Primary/Secondary Schools”, organised by Man Kwan Pak Kau College. Through this enriching and hands-on programme, students explored the diverse aspects of STEAM education in an engaging and challenging learning environment.
The activity integrated practical tasks with creative thinking, requiring students to use science experiment kits, microcontrollers, and sensors to complete a series of innovative projects. These tasks enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of scientific principles and their applications in everyday life.
By engaging in this real-world, experiential learning approach, students not only strengthened their grasp of science concepts but also developed important skills such as problem-solving, logical thinking, and teamwork. The activity served as a valuable bridge between classroom learning and practical application, laying a solid foundation for future exploration in the STEAM fields. It also gave students the opportunity to experience the excitement and value of combining technology with creativity—an experience that fosters both curiosity and confidence in learning.
🏃第18屆校運會 1/4/2025
本校第 18 屆校運會已於 3 月 20 日圓滿舉行，活動氣氛熱烈。當日賽事豐富多元，涵蓋了46 項個人賽事、2 項親子比賽及 7 項接力賽，場面精彩熱鬧。學生們在賽場上全力以赴，展現出堅毅不屈的精神及出色的團隊合作。每班特設「體育精神獎」一名，以表揚學生們的積極參與。
當天的啦啦隊比賽亦是焦點之一，各隊的精彩表現為運動會增添了無限活力，並獲得觀眾的熱烈掌聲。頒獎典禮榮幸邀請到香港運動員就業及教育部體育大使梁筠宜小姐擔任主禮嘉賓。她的勵志分享，鼓勵學生面對挑戰，追逐夢想。
特此感謝我們四十名的家長義工、百多名的校內服務生，以及來自圓玄學院妙法寺內明陳呂重德紀念中學裁判隊的二十多位師生，他們的無私奉獻讓本屆校運會得以圓滿完成。

🏃18th Annual Sports Day 1/4/2025
The 18th Annual Sports Day of our school was held on March 20th with great enthusiasm and a vibrant atmosphere. The event featured a diverse array of competitions, including 46 individual events, 2 parent-child contests, and 7 relay races, all contributing to an exciting and dynamic environment. Our students put forth their best efforts on the field, demonstrating unwavering perseverance and outstanding teamwork. To commend their active engagement, a “Sportsmanship Award” was designated for one student from each class, celebrating the spirit of dedication and enthusiasm they brought to the competition.
The cheerleading competition was also a highlight of the day, with each team’s vibrant performance adding endless energy to the event and earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. We were privileged to have Ms. LEUNG Kwan Yi, Sports Ambassador of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China – Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Department, as the guest of honor at the award ceremony. Her inspirational talk encouraged students to face challenges and pursue their dreams.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our forty parent volunteers, over a hundred student volunteers, and more than twenty teachers and students from the judging team of The Yuen Yuen Institute MFBM Nei Ming Chan Lui Chung Tak Memorial College, whose selfless dedication ensured the smooth completion of this year’s sports day.

🤖VEX IQ Robotics Competition 17/3/2025
Our school’s VEX IQ Robotics Team, now entering its second year, participated in the “Feng Ling Cup VEX IQ Robotics Competition” on 15 March, achieving outstanding results. Among the 17 participating teams, our students delivered an exceptional performance, securing the Champion in the Teamwork Challenge and the 1st Runner-up in the Skills Challenge.
This remarkable success reflects the team’s dedication, perseverance, and hard work over the past six months. Through repeated refinements of their robot designs and programming, the students not only enhanced their technical skills but also demonstrated excellent teamwork and adaptability during the competition.

Our school's STEAM team participated in the Hong Kong AI Creative Coloring Competition this year, organized by Yan Chai Hospital. The competition, themed "Green Technology, Illuminating the Future", aimed to encourage students to integrate artificial intelligence with creative art, explore the possibilities of green technology, and showcase their innovative thinking and design talents. 🎤HKICF 2025 Choral Competition Cum Masterclass (Regular Choir) – Our School Wins Silver in the Primary Junior Category 🎉 10/3/2025
Our junior choir participated in the HKICF 2025 Competition Cum Masterclass (Regular Choirs) – Primary Junior Category on 10 February and was awarded the Silver Prize for their commendable performance. The students performed Now the Day Is Over by composer Jen Wagner, delivering a delicate interpretation with refined vocals. Additionally, two choir members responsible for introducing the piece were presented with the “Best Master of Ceremony Award,” demonstrating strong communication skills and confidence.
This competition provided a valuable learning experience, allowing students to further develop their musical expression and teamwork. 🌿參觀米埔自然保護區「濕地尋寶之旅」🐦 25/2/2025
本校學生於2月5日參加了「濕地尋寶之旅」導賞活動，走進米埔濕地，探索這片擁有豐富生態資源的寶地。在專業導賞員的帶領下，學生沿著指定路線參觀了傳統基圍、浮橋、野生動物棲息地及觀鳥屋，近距離觀察濕地生態，感受大自然的奧妙。
透過這次體驗式學習，學生不僅認識了米埔作為生物多樣性寶庫的價值，更對濕地生態的保育工作有更深刻的理解。他們學習到生態足印的概念，反思人類活動對環境的影響，並思考如何在日常生活中實踐可持續發展的理念。這次活動讓學生在親近大自然的同時，也培養了環保意識，為保護珍貴的生態環境邁出重要的一步。
🌿Visit to Mai Po Nature Reserve – 'Wetland Treasure Hunt'🐦 25/2/2025
On February 5, our students participated in the 'Wetland Treasure Hunt' guided tour, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of Mai Po Wetlands and exploring its rich ecological resources. Led by professional guides, students followed designated routes to visit traditional gei wai shrimp ponds, floating boardwalks, wildlife habitats, and bird-watching hides, allowing them to closely observe the wetland ecosystem and appreciate the wonders of nature.
Through this experiential learning activity, students gained a deeper understanding of Mai Po as a biodiversity haven and developed greater awareness of wetland conservation. They learned about the concept of ecological footprints, reflected on the impact of human activities on the environment, and explored ways to adopt sustainable practices in daily life. This activity not only strengthened their connection with nature but also nurtured their environmental consciousness, encouraging them to take an active role in protecting our valuable ecosystems.

1月24日的「中華文化日」在歡樂的氣氛中圓滿結束！當天同學們穿上華服，投入豐富多彩的活動，包括傳統攤位遊戲、精彩的朗誦表演、雜耍表演、穿越唐宋時空的遊蹤活動、辯論比賽等。身穿華服的同學們仿佛回到古代，親身體驗中華文化的特色。此外，每位同學還獲得了精美的小禮物，帶著滿滿的收穫離開。

🧧Chinese Culture Day: An Exciting Journey Through Time!🧧 28/1/2025
The ‘Chinese Culture Day’ on January 24 concluded successfully in a joyful atmosphere! On that day, students dressed in traditional Chinese attire and enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities, including traditional booth games, captivating recitation performances, juggling shows, a time-travel adventure through the Tang and Song dynasties, and a debate competition. Dressed in traditional attire, the students experienced firsthand the richness of Chinese culture. Additionally, each student received a delicate souvenir, leaving with a sense of fulfillment.
This year’s ‘Chinese Culture Day’ was not only meaningful and enjoyable but also enriched students' understanding of Chinese culture, added vibrancy to school life, and created unforgettable memories. 🤺The 16th Fencing Invitational Tournament at PLK Tin Ka Ping Millennium Primary School 🎉 22/1/2025
On January 11, 31 students from Primary 2 to Primary 6 participated in the 16th Fencing Invitational Tournament hosted by Po Leung Kuk Tin Ka Ping Millennium Primary School. Our students delivered outstanding performances, demonstrating exceptional focus and sportsmanship. Their efforts resulted in remarkable achievements, including three silver medals, eight bronze medals, eleven merit awards (Top 8), as well as the Girls' Team securing third place and the Boys' Team finishing fourth.
We extend our gratitude to PLK Tin Ka Ping Millennium Primary School for the invitation and to the parents who attended to support the students on the day of the competition. We hope our students will continue to pursue their passion for fencing, striving for excellence and achieving even greater success in future tournaments.

In the 76th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (2024), our students showcased their language proficiency and communication skills, achieving commendable results. They secured 1 championship, 7 first runner-up awards, and 8 second runner-up awards. Additionally, 75 students received the Merit Award, while 11 students were awarded the Proficiency Award.
These achievements reflect the students’ dedication to language learning and their commitment to continuous improvement. 🎄Christmas Celebration Day🧑🎄 31/12/2024
On December 20, we hosted a series of engaging Christmas celebration activities at our school, providing teachers and students with a valuable opportunity to strengthen bonds and foster a sense of community.The day featured a variety of events, including an English Christmas Drama performance prepared by our native-speaking English teachers team. This performance combined festive elements with health education, offering students an enjoyable and educational viewing experience.
Additionally, during the Christmas inter-class performances, students actively participated and showcased a wide range of talents, including singing, instrumental performances, storytelling, fashion shows, dancing, and drama. These activities not only allowed students to gain inspiration and insights from their peers' performances but also sparked creativity and cultivated a positive atmosphere of mutual learning. The Christmas celebration was both joyful and meaningful, leaving lasting memories for teachers and students alike while highlighting the vibrant and diverse learning culture within our school.

On December 14, our student 6E WONG TSZ HUEN participated in the Yuen Long District Primary Six Speech Competition 2024, organized by Shung Tak Catholic English College, and earned an impressive third place with her outstanding performance. 小一百日活動於12月18日圓滿舉行，為一年級學生及其家長帶來了一段充滿溫馨和感動的美好時光。活動當天，學生和家長齊聚一堂，共同回顧孩子在第一學段中於校園裡的成長與點滴。學校特別準備了校園生活片段的播放環節，影片中展示了學生們在課堂上學習、課外活動以及日常生活中的珍貴瞬間，讓家長深刻感受到孩子的成長與進步。
學生們的精心準備的群舞表演展現了自信與活力，獲得了家長們的掌聲肯定。互動遊戲讓家長和學生一起探索校園，加強親子關係和對學校的認識。

💕Primary One 100 Days Celebration 31/12/2024
The Primary One 100 Days Celebration was successfully held on December 18, bringing a warm and memorable experience to our Primary one students and their parents. On this special day, students and parents gathered together to reflect on the growth and milestones the children achieved during their first school term at school. The school thoughtfully prepared a video montage showcasing moments from students’ learning, extracurricular activities, and daily school life, allowing parents to deeply appreciate their children's progress and development.
The students' well-rehearsed group dance performance demonstrated their confidence and enthusiasm, earning heartfelt applause from parents. Interactive games provided an opportunity for parents and students to explore the school together, fostering stronger parent-child bonds and a deeper understanding of the school environment.
A highlight of the event was the ‘Tokens of Appreciation’ segment, where students presented handmade thank-you cards and flowers to their parents, expressing heartfelt gratitude and sharing their promises for the future. In return, parents offered small tokens of encouragement and support to acknowledge their children’s efforts. The event concluded with families taking warm, commemorative photos in the beautifully decorated photo zone, capturing this meaningful occasion.
This celebration not only marked a significant milestone in the academic and personal growth of our Primary One students but also offered parents a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insights into their children’s school life. 本校田徑隊於12月7日參加了由萬鈞毅智中學主辦的「STEAM室內三項小鐵人比賽」。比賽以團隊接力形式進行，每隊需透過划船機、Wattbike 和非電動跑步機完成全長4公里的賽程（划船1公里、騎自行車2公里、跑步1公里）。

🏃🛶🚲STEAM Indoor Triathlon Challenge 10/12/2024
On December 7, our Athletics Team participated in the 'STEAM Indoor Triathlon Challenge' organized by Jockey Club Man Kwan EduYoung College. The competition was conducted in a team relay format, requiring each team to complete a total distance of 4 kilometers using a rowing machine (1 km), Wattbike (2 km), and a non-motorized treadmill (1 km).
After an intense and closely contested event, our Team A secured 3rd Place, while Team B received a Merit Award. This competition not only enhanced students' physical fitness but also fostered teamwork and strategic thinking. 探索升學機會
學生參與多所中學的開放日，包括香港管理專業協會羅桂祥中學、基督教香港信義會信義中學及十八鄉鄉事委員會公益社中學，深入了解各校教學特色與環境。我們亦安排學生出席新界鄉議局元朗區中學的尖子生分享會，從學長經驗中汲取啟發。此外，十八鄉鄉事委員會公益社中學校長親臨本校，與師生及家長交流中學的教學理念及發展方向。
升中面試訓練
自 12 月 2 日起，由英文科及外籍教師帶領學生進行模擬面試訓練，透過真實模擬情境，提升學生的自信心及臨場應變能力。
🏫Enhancing Secondary School Transition: Comprehensive Preparation Programs at KYS🏫 9/12/2024
To fully support our students in their transition to secondary school, we arranged a variety of activities to help them gain a deeper understanding of the unique features of different schools and prepare thoroughly for secondary school interviews.
Exploring Secondary School Opportunities
Students attended open days at several secondary schools, including The Hong Kong Management Association K. S. Lo College, ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School, and SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School. These visits enabled them to explore each school’s distinctive teaching features and learning environment. Additionally, students participated in the Elite Sharing Session organized by N.T. Heung Yee Kuk Yuen Long District Secondary School, where they gained valuable insights from outstanding alumni. Furthermore, the principal of SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School visited our school to provide an introductory session, offering students and parents an opportunity to engage directly with the school’s leadership and gain a deeper understanding of its educational philosophy and developmental goals.
Secondary School Interview Training
Starting from 2 December, we arranged for English teachers and native-speaking teachers to lead mock interview training sessions. These sessions provided realistic simulation scenarios to familiarize students with the interview process, boost their confidence, and enhance their ability to respond effectively during interviews.

為了提升學生對英語學習的興趣及拓寬多元文化視野，我校於10月31日舉行了英文科多元文化活動日：萬聖節英語活動。當天，學生穿著輕鬆有趣的萬聖節服飾參加活動，包括萬聖節時裝表演、英語遊戲、故事閱讀和手工製作等。同學在互動中學習英語並感受萬聖節的文化特色。
此外，糖果交換環節為活動增添了趣味，學生與同學分享糖果，氣氛溫馨融洽。
本次萬聖節英語活動日不僅讓學生們在活動中提升了英語能力，也幫助他們加深了對萬聖節文化的了解，營造了一個多元文化的學習環境。
🎃Halloween English Activity Day – A Multicultural Experience🎃 5/12/2024
To spark students’ interest in learning English and broaden their understanding of diverse cultures, our school organized the English Department’s Multicultural Activity Day: Halloween English Activities, on October 31. Students dressed in lighthearted and creative Halloween costumes and participated in various activities, including a Halloween fashion show, games, story reading, and crafts. Through these interactive sessions, students practiced their English skills while exploring the cultural significance of Halloween.
The candy exchange added an extra layer of enjoyment to the day, as students shared treats with their peers in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Halloween English Activity Day not only enhanced students’ English proficiency but also deepened their understanding of Halloween traditions, fostering a multicultural learning experience that was both engaging and educational.

On November 2, several of our school’s technology-focused teams and extracurricular groups participated in the ‘iNNOCARNIVAL 2024’ held at the Hong Kong Science Park. This year’s theme, ‘Let’s Sail with Innovation and Technology', highlighted a variety of groundbreaking inventions and scientific achievements. Through interactive booths, games, and workshops, students gained a deeper understanding of how innovative technology is applied in everyday life.
Our participating teams included the Junior Engineers Team(STEM), Advanced Programming Class, Drone Pioneers, and VEX IQ Robotics Team. Students eagerly took part in various activities, experiencing different tech projects firsthand and developing a stronger interest and knowledge in innovative technology. This carnival offered a fun experience while providing students with a richer appreciation of the practical applications of technology in our world.

🏫深圳姊妹學校科技月體驗活動✈️🤖 1/11/2024
10月30日，本校12名師生應邀前往深圳姊妹學校——方方樂趣中英文學校（香港方方樂趣教育機構成員）參加科技月體驗活動。開幕禮上，學生觀賞了機械人舞蹈、無人機表演以及學生的太空人舞蹈等精彩演出，學生專注投入，表現出對科技的濃厚興趣。

🏫Technology Month Experience Event at the Shenzhen Sister School✈️🤖

On October 30th, twelve teachers and students from our school were invited to attend the Technology Month Experience Event at our sister school, Funful Bilingual School in Shenzhen (part of the Funful Education Group in Hong Kong). During the opening ceremony, students enjoyed captivating performances featuring robot dances, drone displays, and an astronaut-themed dance. The event had a lively atmosphere, with students showing keen interest in the exciting technological showcases.
After the ceremony, students joined their peers from the sister school in a variety of interactive activities, including simulated flight exploration, robot control, and VR and AR experiences, giving everyone a hands-on encounter with cutting-edge technology. Additionally, our students took part in Chinese and science classes, broadening their knowledge and strengthening their enthusiasm for learning. The event was a rewarding experience, leaving students with both newfound knowledge and lasting memories.

On October 19th, our school successfully organised the annual Outdoor Learning Day with the theme “Natural Environment,” where students from each grade embarked on enriching exploration journeys to various locations. This year’s activities were as follows:
P1: Visited the West Kowloon Cultural District, exploring the intersection of culture and nature.
P2: Explored Hong Kong Ocean Park to learn about marine ecosystems and the importance of ocean conservation.
P3: Visited Tai Po Waterfront Park, gaining insights into ecosystems amidst beautiful natural scenery.
P4: Experienced organic farming at The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Organic Farm, deepening their awareness of sustainable development.
P5: Engaged in team-building activities and outdoor skills at Tai Mei Tuk BBQ site.
P6: Explored the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln in Foshan, discovering the deep connection between traditional culture and the natural environment, sparking interest in history and nature.
The purpose of this event was to strengthen students’ teamwork and communication skills while fostering respect and appreciation for the natural environment. We hope that through these outdoor learning experiences, students broaden their horizons, grow in nature, and gain valuable experiences for their future learning journeys.

Over 400 students from various regions formed more than 60 teams, competing on the same stage . In May 2024, our student Iu Chung Hin from Class 6B showcased exceptional creativity in the Crime Prevention Art Competition organized by the Crime Prevention Units of the Hong Kong Police Force’s New Territories North Region, achieving 1st Runner-up! Our school’s Chinese Reading & Writing Team was selected as an 'Outstanding Team in the Primary School Category' in the Chinese History and Culture Academy (9th Edition): Guangdong-Hong Kong Food Culture and History event. On July 31st, the team was invited to Metro Radio to record a program, where they performed a self-written radio drama.
This invaluable experience not only helped students explore the rich history of Guangdong-Hong Kong cuisine, but also showcased their exceptional communication skills. Their original radio dramas ‘The Adorable Rice Noodle Auntie’ and ‘Cart Noodle’ will be broadcast on October 29 and November 5 from 5 to 6 PM on Metro Info FM99.7's program ‘World Doorway’. 🎉 On August 24th, our school’s golf team participated in the Hong Kong Junior Golf Driving Range Competition 2024, hosted by the AGA Sai Sha Golf Driving Range. This competition attracted over 30 students in the U11 category. Our team members gave their all, not only enhancing their golf skills but also bravely challenging themselves and gaining valuable competition experience. Our English Debating Team shone in this year’s Hong Kong Secondary Schools English Debating Competition for the Primary P6 Division. We sent two teams to compete, both of which excelled in the preliminary rounds and successfully advanced to the finals. The final contest was held on July 2nd, culminating in our teams achieving first and second place in their respective groups, securing the championship and runner-up titles.

🤺🎊Bank of China 2nd Youth Development Programme - All Primary School Fencing Competition (New Territories) 🤺🎊 3/7/2024
During the “Bank of China 2nd Youth Development Programme - All Primary School Fencing Competition” held on June 29th and 30th, our fencing team made their first appearance at the AsiaWorld-Expo, competing with nearly 1600 primary school students from all over Hong Kong. The participants were both excited and nervous, gaining invaluable experience and igniting their passion for fencing. We are grateful to the parents who supported their children throughout the competition, cheering for our team members.

獲得獎項包括：金獎2項、銀獎32項、銅獎17項。其中，有3位學生在小組賽中獲得季軍。

In the 76th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, our school was represented by 54 students, including 42 in piano, 3 in guitar, 3 in vocal, 1 in French horn, 2 in violin, 1 in viola, and 2 in cello.
Awards won include: 2 gold medals, 32 silver medals, and 17 bronze medals, with 3 students also securing third place in their groups.
In team competitions, our school’s senior and junior choirs won bronze medals in the under 13 and under 9 primary school choir categories, respectively; both of our recorder teams received silver medals.
These outstanding results showcase our students’ hard work and talent! Congratulations to all the award-winning students!

本科常識百科校隊於 3 月 21 日參觀水資源中心 –「水知園」。在導賞員的講解下，同學了解到淡水資源的珍貴、香港的供水歷史、食水運輸的過程和節約用水的方法等。同學並化身「淡水專家」，對不同範疇的淡水知識進行探究，在課堂上與同學分享。

On March 21st, the General Studies Knowledge Masters Team visited the H2O Public Education Centre -The H2OPE Centre. Guided by the tour guide, students gained insights into the importance of freshwater resources, Hong Kong's water supply history, the process of water transportation, and methods for water conservation. Students transformed into 'Freshwater Experts', exploring various aspects of freshwater knowledge and sharing their findings with classmates during the lessons.

We held our annual school performance on the afternoon of May 18. The event lasted two hours and featured nine fantastic programs, including the orchestra, music creativity class, senior choir, junior choir, recorder ensemble, ballet troupe, children’s dance troupe, Chinese dance troupe, and English musical.
Each performance showcased the diverse talents and hard work of our students, leaving the audience deeply impressed by their confidence and enthusiasm. These brilliant performances not only demonstrated the students' exceptional achievements in the arts but also reflected their growth in teamwork and perseverance.

Congratulations to three Primary 4 students from our school for achieving third place in the 'Time to Talk Public Speaking Competition' on May 6th! 🎉
The competition was organized by NET Section from the EDB with the aim of improving students' public speaking skills. Our students successfully captured the attention of judges and audience members through their outstanding speech techniques and captivating content. They actively sought guidance, accepted challenges, and worked hard to improve their speaking and communication skills in preparation for the competition. They also demonstrated the spirit of teamwork throughout the competition.

The three-day educational camp concluded successfully from March 25th to 27th! Primary 1 to Primary 3 students participated in day camps, engaging in activities such as agricultural experiences, exploring plants and animals, and learning about environmental conservation and sustainable development. For Primary 4 to Primary 6, the three-day, two-night camp took place in the campgrounds of Tso Kung Tam, Cheung Chau, and Lam Tsuen. These experiences provided students with diverse activities outside the classroom, enhancing their self-awareness and self-management skills while fostering teamwork and enriching their learning journey, aiming for holistic development.

In collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association, we presented a unique Family Reading Twilight Camp on March 16th, bringing a night filled with laughter and learning to our students and their families. Throughout the evening, students not only stepped into a fantastical world with the rhythm of shadow puppetry but also engaged in a creative egg-hunt book-making activity, turning inspiration into unique handmade books. Even more splendidly, the shared reading time under the tent and a cozy dinner with families transformed this night into an unforgettable memory.

Their nuanced acting skills deeply immersed us in this ancient tale filled with emotional depth and the harsh realities of war. On February 7th, students participated in the educational activity "The Story of Little Birds" organized by the World Wildlife Fund at the Mai Po Nature Reserve. On January 27th, in collaboration with our Parent-Teacher Association, we successfully organized a family trip to a theme park. During this event, students, parents, and teachers together enjoyed the various attractions within the park. On January 23rd, even though the weather forced us to hold our school sports day indoors, our students' enthusiasm and active participation were undiminished. They took part in various activities such as standing long jump, floor curling, and dodge disc, showcasing not just their athletic abilities but also their strong team spirit. On January 19th, a group of our P4 students stepped out of the classroom and into a kindergarten for a service learning project. They introduced the young children to a board game designed around the theme of healthy living. Demonstrating the rules in their own unique ways, they encouraged the kindergarten kids to join in the fun. This interaction was not only a source of joy and excitement for the little ones but also a platform for our P4 students to showcase their creativity and design skills. Through this activity, our students had the opportunity to personally present the board game they had designed and made, while imparting the message of healthy living to the younger children during the course of the game.

This year, our P6 students had the enriching opportunity to join the IT Elite Training Program once more, hosted by the Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee Kung Yik She Secondary School. The program provided them with a foundational exposure to various IT skills, including 3D modelling, programming, and practical applications of information technology.

On December 16th, Our school students have won the "Best Rookie Team Award" at the VEX IQ Robotics Challenge organized by the Hong Kong Robotics Association. To commemorate the important 100th day milestone of our Primary One students at KYS, we organised a grand "Primary One 100th Day" event on 12 December. Parents and children were able to celebrate this moment of growth together joyfully.
The day's activities were highly enriching. Parents witnessed their progress with immense pride and joy.
Teachers also engaged in fun interactive games with students and families. It was a delightful celebration where all immersed themselves fully. This touching gesture overwhelmed everyone present with love and appreciation.

為了協助學生做好升中的準備，我們學校舉辦了多種升中活動。這些活動包括參加香港管理專業協會羅桂祥中學、十八鄉鄉事委員會公益社中學的開放日，以及新界鄉議局元朗區中學的尖子生分享會等，提供學生深入了解不同中學的特色和教學環境的機會。此外，我們還邀請了元朗商會中學和十八鄉鄉事委員會公益社中學的校長來到學校進行簡介會，讓學生和家長能直接與中學校長和教師交流，進一步了解各校的特色和教學理念。

To assist our students in preparing for secondary school, our school has organized a variety of activities aimed at facilitating this transition. These activities include participation in open days at The Hong Kong Management Association K S Lo College and SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School, as well as the Elite Sharing Session at N.T. Heung Yee Kuk Yuen Long District Secondary School. These events provide our students with opportunities to gain an in-depth understanding of the distinct characteristics and teaching environments of various secondary schools. Furthermore, we have invited principals from Yuen Long Merchants Association Secondary School and SPHRC Kung Yik She Secondary School to conduct introductory sessions at our school. This arrangement allows both students and parents to interact directly with secondary school principals and teachers, enhancing their understanding of each school's unique features and educational philosophies.
Additionally, to help students excel in secondary school interviews, starting from December 4, 2023, our English teachers and foreign instructors will lead mock interview training sessions. This initiative is designed to familiarize students with the interview process, thereby boosting their confidence and response capabilities.

From November 27th to December 1st, our school conducted the Curriculum Integration Week, centered on the theme of Acquaintance with Well-Being. Through a range of on-campus and off-campus activities, students from all levels had the chance to engage in field trips, applying classroom-learned skills to deeply explore and reflect on the concept of a ‘Better Future’.

This guided tour not only allowed the students to experience the sport of golf firsthand but also provided them with the opportunity to watch an international-level tournament. ⛳ Victory Celebration for the Hong Kong, China Golf Team at the Asian Games 8/11/2023
Our school had the honor of being invited by the Golf Association of Hong Kong, China, with 100 of our students participating in the celebration at the Hong Kong Sports Institute on 6 November. This event offered our students a rare chance to enhance their understanding of and interest in golf. They had the opportunity to engage with Taichi Kho, the individual event gold medalist at the Hangzhou Asian Games, and other distinguished athletes, gaining insights into the athletes' unwavering dedication and the resilient spirit of sportsmanship. Each student who attended the event also received a golf cap and a photograph signed by the athletes, serving as a cherished memento of this inspiring experience.

🎃 Multicultural Activity Day: Halloween English Activities 8/11/2023
On October 31st, our school organized the Multicultural Activity Day: Halloween English Activities. Students participated in various English learning activities, including Halloween writing and drawing activities, Halloween tongue twister competitions, Halloween English sing-along activities, Halloween story reading and Q&A games, Halloween crafts, and Halloween ‘Fashion Show’. These activities significantly enhanced students’ interest in learning English while deepening their understanding of multiculturalism.
On October 31st, our school came alive with the spirit of Halloween as we celebrated our Multicultural Activity Day. Students dived into a variety of English language activities designed to be both fun and educational. They showcased their creativity in Halloween-themed writing and drawing, twisted their tongues with Halloween tongue twisters, sang along to English Halloween tunes, and engaged with stories during our reading and interactive Q&A games. The day was also filled with hands-on fun with Halloween crafts and a festive 'Fashion Show' that allowed students to parade their costumes. These activities were a fantastic way to boost our students' interest in English and provide them with a glimpse into the rich tapestry of global cultures.

On May 6th and May 20th, we collaborated with the Parent-Teacher Association to organize two Parent-Child Outdoor Reading Day Camps held at a leisure farm. During both camps, students and parents participated in a picture book workshop and an indigo dyeing workshop, allowing children to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of nature and culture through the process of reading and creating.

The performance encompassed a diverse range of performances, including instrumental presentations, orchestral performances, senior and junior choirs, Chinese and Mandarin recitations, English recitations, flute ensemble, fencing team, ballet troupe, children's dance team, Chinese dance team, and an English musical. These captivating performances showcased the various talents of our students and the dedication they put into their endeavors, leaving us in awe of their confidence and abilities.

💃🏻 Annual Variety Show - Student Priority Session 16/5/2023
On May 15th, we prepared the "Annual Variety Show - Student Session" for our students, with the aim to boost their self-confidence and team spirit, while showcasing their learning outcomes. Various activity groups participated in the performance that day, including the instrumental performance, the orchestra, the senior choir, the junior choir, Chinese recitation, Mandarin recitation, English recitation, the recorder team, the fencing team, the ballet team, the children's dance team, and the Chinese dance team. We are confident that this performance not only provided a chance for the students to display their talents but also an opportunity to experience the power of teamwork. Through mutual support and collaboration, they jointly created a wonderful performance.
At the "Annual Variety Show - Parent Session" to be held on May 19th, there will be a special performance by the English musical team. We warmly welcome parents to join us in witnessing the growth and progress of our students.

Mother's Day is a special day to express love and gratitude to mothers. This year, during our activity on May 12, students made handmade cards and presented beautiful carnations to show their appreciation and love for their mothers. The activity embodies the school's core value of Love & Care in practice. Through this activity, students learn how to express gratitude and deeply appreciate the importance of caring and gratitude. The "I am a Little Writer" mini book design competition is designed to inspire students' passion for reading, enhance their language skills, and encourage innovative thinking. The Joyful Reading Day was successfully concluded on April 13th. The day's activities were very diverse, including reading books, watching theater performances, participating in reading events, taking the campus reading trail, engaging in drama activities, and designing picture books. Our students participated in the Hong Kong Golf Club Asia Tour Guided Tour on March 23rd at the Hong Kong Golf Club located in Fanling. The coaches from the club led the students to understand the basic rules and skills of golf, allowing them to better understand and experience the sport. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to watch high-level matches and feel the excitement and intensity of the competition, broadening their horizons and knowledge.

我們在3月16日舉辦了第17屆校運會，感謝香港高爾夫球總會行政總裁賴以尊先生擔任主禮嘉賓及致訓辭。本次活動除了田徑比賽外，還有親子競技及接力賽。共有46個個人賽、6個親子賽、7個接力賽，讓1至6年級學生、家長及老師參與。啦啦隊比賽分為A至E班組別。今年首次設立「KYS 體育精神獎」，旨在培養學生核心價值和團隊精神。
The 17th School Sports Day 3/2023
On March 16th, we held our 17th Annual Sports Day, with Mr. Danny LAI, CEO of the Hong Kong Golf Association, as the guest of honor and keynote speaker. The event included not only track and field competitions, but also various parent-child and relay races. A total of 46 individual races, 6 parent-child races, and 7 relay races were organized for students from P1 to P6, parents, and teachers to participate in. Cheerleading contests were divided into Classes A to E. This year, we introduced the "KYS Sportsmanship Award" to cultivate students' core values and team spirit.
🏞️ 主題公園親子旅行 3/2023
學校與家長教師會合辦的主題公園親子旅行已於 3 月 11 日圓滿完成。當天共超過 500 名學生和家長參加，透過這次活動，成功增進了親子關係，加強了家校溝通。
Theme Park Parent-child Trip Concludes Successfully 3/2023
The theme Park Parent-child Trip, co-organized by the school and the Parent-Teacher Association, concluded successfully on March 11th, with over 500 students and parents participating. The event not only strengthened parent-child relationships but also enhanced communication between families and the school.
🛤️ 校運會、戶外學習活動及教育營家長會 3/2023
隨著社會在疫後復常，本校亦開始陸續復辦各項走出課室的學習活動，以豐富學生的校園生活體驗。學校於 3 月 9 日舉行了家長會，向家長介紹在 3 月內所舉行的校運會、戶外學習活動及教育營安排。當天共約 260 位家長以現場或線上方式出席本家長會。
Sports Day, Outdoor Learning Activities, and Educational Camp Parent Meeting 3/2023
As society returns to normalcy, our school have begun to resume various learning activities outside the classroom to enrich students' experiences. Our school held a parent meeting on March 9th, introducing the arrangements for the sports day, outdoor learning activities, and educational camp scheduled in March to the parents. A total of approximately 260 parents attended the meeting, either in person or online.
🌠 一至六年級課程統整週 2/2023
從2月13日至2月17日，校方特別為學生設計了一週的學習活動，活動主題為「對幸福的探索」，旨在讓學生有機會對「更好的未來」作出探討及培養他們具備「明日領袖元素」。課程統整週的課堂按日常時間表進行，並按不同年級的課程融合多元化的學習活動，包括實地學習、團隊合作、文化體驗等，帶領學生到流浮山消防局、綠在元朗、屏山文物徑、龍躍頭文物徑等地學習、體驗和成長。透過這些活動，學生不僅能夠增進自我認知和自我管理能力，還能夠提升團隊精神和豐富他們的學習經歷，以達至全人發展的目標。
Curriculum Integration Week 2/2023
From February 13th to February 17th, the school designed a week-long learning activity for students with the theme "Acquaintance with Well-Being". The activity aimed to provide students with opportunities to discuss "a better future" and cultivate their "qualities of the leaders of tomorrow". The classes during the Curriculum Integration Week followed the daily timetable and integrated various diversified learning activities into different subjects, including field trips, teamwork, and cultural experiences. The activities took students to visit places such as the Fire Station, Green in Yuen Long, Ping Shan Heritage Trail, and Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail. Through these activities, students not only enhanced their self-awareness and self-management abilities but also improved their teamwork spirit and enriched their learning experiences, in order to achieve the goal of holistic development.

On December 18th, we held a Christmas celebration event at our school. Activities included a Christmas play performed by our foreign teaching staff, inter-class performances, and other festive activities. These events aimed to foster closer relationships among teachers and students, enhance unity, cultivate leadership and teamwork skills in students, and provide opportunities for them to learn from each other's performances.

On December 9th, the school held a "100 Days of Primary One" event for students and parents to look back on the first school term (about 100 days) since the summer orientation class. 學校每年為各級學生舉辦兩次生日會，以促進關愛文化和提高學生的歸屬感。本學年第一次生日會已成功舉辦，第二次將於5月份進行。1-2年級生日會分別在11月15日及5月23日（星期二）；3-4年級生日會分別在11月29日及5月9日（星期二）；5-6年級生日會分別在11月8日及5月2日（星期二）。
Student Birthday Party Schedule 11/2022
Our school holds two birthday parties for students of all levels each year to promote a caring culture and increase students' sense of belonging. The first birthday party of this academic year has been successfully held, and the second one will be in May. The P1-P2 is parties are on November 15th and May 23rd (Tuesdays); the P3-P4 grade parties are on November 29th and May 9th (Tuesdays); and the P5-P6 parties are on November 8th and May 2nd (Tuesdays).

KYS Participates in Language Learning Support Section of the Education Bureau Annual Sharing Session 05/2022
Our school's principal and teachers were invited by the Language Learning Support Section of the Education Bureau to attend their annual sharing session.
