Kaede mate (only for Program 1 students)
The "Kaede Mate" program is an activity in which international students and KUIS students are paired throughout the semester. Paired international students and KUIS students meet once a week for an hour to chat in Japanese. Students in the 1st semester of their exchange are required to participate in this program.

KUIS Global Ambassadors / KGA
KUIS Global Ambassadors is a student organization for the purpose of international exchange established in 2020.
KGA initiates, plans, and manages international exchange activities such as exchange meetings, on-campus events, and information dissemination on a voluntary and proactive basis.
We encourage you to participate in the events planned by KGA once you start your study at KUIS.
Japanese volunteer team supporting you
Welcome team
Welcome Team, a group of KUIS student volunteers, will support you to settle down in Japan (free of charge). They will provide a guide to your housing, a room guide, support during orientation, and a guide on the route to get to the school.
You can ask about life in Japan, school life, your concerns etc.
