Growth International Volunteer Excursions (GIVE) INTERNSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Dates Needed: May 22-June 25, 2024; July 6-14, 2024; December 15-23, 2024; January 3-11, 2025

GIVE Hawaii has been building its program alongside community partners since the summer of 2021. Focused primarily on cultural and environmental education, the GIVE Hawaii program attracts primarily college students from across the US with high schoolers, young professionals, and international students participating as well.

By partnering with local non-profits, businesses, and community members we’ve been able to educate hundreds of volunteers about how to properly conduct themselves when visiting Hawaii and at the same time, giving back to the community that hosts them.

Our 9 day program is split between Honoka’a and Pahala and includes volunteering at a local non-profit the 1st half of the day to learn about the surrounding area and a recreational opportunity during the 2nd half of the day to expand on what was learned.GIVE Hawaii Local Intern Position

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to apply for financial aid for college or graduate school. For most students planning to attend college or attend career school, financial aid is essential. Before each year of college, apply for federal grants, work-study, and loans with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. There is no income cut-off to apply and other factors besides income are considered. Many scholarships request a Student Aid Report which requires you to fill out the FAFSA.   EVERYONE SHOULD DO THE FAFSA.
