All about me - Self Portraits
Students study line design, warm /cool tones in colors, texturing, and self expression through words and self directing a photo shoot. Students select and express their emotions and self perspectives with color, texture, physical poses, and word expressions in their self portraits.
- Linear designs - Zentangle practices using linear lines to create patterns. Bold and fine lines to create contrast

Initials - a study of mask resistance and watercolors
Haumana use masking technique and watercolors to create designs using their Letter initials.
ʻAikalima - Ice Cream Project
Haumana work with tempera paints to create tints, hues and shades. They use this knowledge to make their "special ice cream cone". Alliteration was used to title their ice cream flavor.
Digital Art - Ipad drawings
Students work with drawing/painting tools on Drawing Pad app. Maui stories provide a source for creative visual interpretations.
A culminating gift is a 2020 calendar with their Moʻolelo Digital Art of Maui
