Steps to success...
Have conversations at home in regards to gain an understanding of who and what to include in your personal pepeha.
Actively participate in Pepeha Te Reo Tuatahi lessons.
Explore and then choose a creative avenue to express your pepeha (options will be discussed in class). This could be a role play, google slide, google site, spoken orally, visual art etc.
Create your pepeha,
Share your pepeha.
Many of our students are not of Māori decedent. The basic pepeha structure for them will be similar to below (plus siblings):

Ko ____________ te māunga
Ko ____________ te awa/roto/moana
(These two areas may not be included. they may be from ancestors country or where they live or where their parents did live or where they feel they belong to. (eg. Whanaganui)
Ko ____________ te waka
(may not be included but can be ancestors ship or plane)
No ______________ ōku tipuna.
Nō ____________ ahau
Ko ______________ tōku kuia.
Ko _____________ tōku koro.
Ko ______________ tōku matua or papa.
Ko _____________ tōku whaea or mama.
