Matariki is the celebration of the Māori New Year. It is a time to come together, celebrate, eat, reflect on past memories and look towards to the future. Our school is going to celebrate Matariki by creating 4 Korowai.
Koa means please. Saying koa is a ka rawe way to show manners and whakaute (respect) for the person you are talking to.
