This session will clarify trauma and trauma behaviors. Attendees will leave with strategies for empowerment and success through trust-based relationships.
Bethan Blechacz has worked as a therapist at Christian Family Solutions since August 2022 within the children’s intensive outpatient program, outpatient therapy through Germantown, and school based therapy at KML. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Science from Concordia University and her master’s degree in social work from Aurora University. Bethany has worked with adoptive and foster families for the last 12 years in a variety of roles and continues to specialize in trauma and child development as they relate to attachment, developing healthy relationships, and healing.
Jessica Martinez has been employed by Christian Family Solutions as a therapist since August 2022. She currently serves at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School as their school therapist. Prior to coming to CFS, Jessica was a teacher and Dean of Students at a WELS school in the city of Milwaukee for over 15 years of her ministry. While teaching full-time, Jessica earned her master’s and post master’s degrees in school counseling and clinical mental health counseling.
