Children are naturally driven to observe, wonder, ask questions, draw conclusions, experiment, create, and be active participants in their quest for knowledge. This natural curiosity serves as the foundation for Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL). During this session, we will discuss how to use IBL to foster active engagement and ownership in the learning process. Join us on our journey to facilitate a lifelong passion for learning. Walk away from this session with a sense of wonder and “loose parts” that you can use in your classroom next year.
Rachel Arndt finds delight in seeking knowledge alongside children in the heart of nature. She currently teaches at St John’s, Newburg and is grateful to be facilitating learning in their nature-based preschool.
