• First in-person online test on the above will be held on Wed 19 Feb 2025 at 10:30 at 'Smart' class room. Bring your own smartphone with reliable internet connection to appear at the test.

• Particularly complete the Writing a Research Paper: Generating Questions & Topics Workshop https://t.ly/EW2Ut   

• Read the chapter "Academic Writing" by Sharmila Majumdar. If you did not study it in your UG days, you can find it now in Enrich 2, the UG textbook of University of Kalyani, under NEP2020 syllabus. 

• Second in-person online test on the above two will be held on Fri 7 Mar 2025 at 10:30 at 'Smart' class room. Bring your own smartphone with reliable internet connection to appear at the test. 

• Third in-person online test on all the above, plus a test focussed on Choosing a Topic will be held at 'smart' classroom on  13 Mar 2025 at 10:30 AM. Till you do not pass the test on Choosing a Topic https://t.ly/ktioH , you will not be allowed to choose the topic of your dissertation.  

• Topic and proposal stage will be arrived at after completing all the above stages.

Dateline

1. First in-person online test on the above will be held on Wed 19 Feb 2025 at 10:30 at 'Smart' class room. 

2. Second in-person online test on the above two will be held on Fri 7 Mar 2025 at 10:30 at 'Smart' class room.

3. Third in-person online test focussed on 'Choosing a Topic' will be held at 'smart' classroom on  Thu 13 Mar 2025 at 'Smart' class room.

4. Title with proposal in specific format will be due after all the above stages are completed. 

5. First paragraph of the approved proposal and title will be due in 14 days after the above are approved. 

6. Date of submission of the dissertation  will be announced subsequently.
