Dear Parents/Guardians of Kindergarten and Reception children,
We take this opportunity to welcome you and to thank you for choosing KISU, you have made the right choice! We are delighted to have you as part of the community and thank you for trusting us, the Early Years team, to lay firm foundations for your child to build upon and develop academically, physically, emotionally and socially.
We are an experienced and dedicated teaching team who have expertise in promoting our 'learn through play' ethos and we have very quickly got to know your child to be able to tailor planned learning experiences to match your child's interests.
We wish you to know that we will challenge all children to meet and exceed outcomes and we will celebrate your child's goals and success with you and alongside you. Our standards are high and our ambition for every child is for them to leave the Foundation Stage well set up for the next part of their KISU journey, and guess what, we do!
Our data backs up the fact that a large majority of our Early Years children not only meet this target but achieve at an exceeding level across all areas of learning by the time they leave Reception! Trust us entirely, support us completely and your child will be the best that they can be! We have loved meeting you and your child during these first few weeks.
Kind regards,
KISU Early Years Team.
Reception has been buzzing with excitement! The children are happy to explore their new indoor and outdoor learning environment. We spent the last two weeks getting to know one another, learnt new classroom rules and we are trying to adjust to new routines. Look out KISU family, now that we’ve settled in- here we come!
Over the past two weeks, Reception VG has been diving into some truly exciting learning experiences! Exploring the outdoor setting and interesting hands-on activities set up in the continuous provision inside classroom have made the learning process both engaging and enlightening for everyone involved. We will surely have a funfilled yet productive year ahead and the energy and enthusiasm among the students says it all.
Over the past fortnight in KG3, we've embarked on an exciting journey of getting to know one another, establishing essential class routines, and delving into the exploration of our learning spaces. It's been a remarkable start to the academic year, fostering a warm and inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued and respected. We've encouraged students to share their interests, hobbies, and stories, allowing them to connect on a personal level and build friendships. I'm delighted to witness their enthusiasm and growth, and I'm excited about the learning adventures that lie ahead in KG3.
