Summer Break Mental Health Tips
Dear Teachers and Staff,
As we wrap up a long, demanding term, many of you are feeling tired or burnt out. This well-deserved break is a chance to rest, reset, and reconnect-with yourself and your loved ones.
Some of you may dive into side hustles, family time, or early prep for next term. Others may explore AI tools or take on professional development. While all these are worthwhile, don’t forget to rest, your mental health matters.
Take time to unplug, sleep in, enjoy nature, journal, or simply breathe. Bond with family through small, meaningful moments. If you're working or learning, pace yourself and set healthy boundaries.
And for those with children, consider signing them up for our Summer Camp-a safe, fun, and engaging space for them to grow while you take a breather.
Let this summer be a time of balance-rest, reflection, and light growth. You've earned it!

Hello KISU Parents and Guardians,
As we prepare for the new academic year, we kindly ask you to take a moment to complete our updated Publicity & Media Consent Form below.
This form helps us know whether you're happy for your child to be included in our school communications and posts, such as the Yearbook, Website, Newsletter, ClassDojo and Social Media. Most families opt in, but there is also an option to opt out if you prefer.
Thank you for helping us start the year with clarity and for supporting how we celebrate our amazing students!
Warm regards,
Deborah Athieno
