KISU Sports Awards Evening: A Joyous Celebration of Talent and Teamwork
The highly anticipated KISU Sports Awards Ceremony was held on 13th May 2025 at the beautiful Kabira Country Club, where both the Primary and Secondary school communities came together to honour the exceptional sporting talent and achievements of the season 2024 / 2025. The Primary ceremony took place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by the Secondary celebration from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sudhir and Ms. Sheena for graciously providing us with the stunning hall at Kabira. It was a joyful and memorable event, and our students were especially thrilled to have the celebration hosted in such a beautiful venue. I truly appreciate your support in making the day so special.
This season, KISU proudly participated in various ISSAK sports including football, basketball, athletics, cross country, swimming, and volleyball. We extend our congratulations to all our student-athletes who represented KISU with commitment, determination, and pride. Your passion and sportsmanship continue to make us proud.
A massive thank you goes out to our dedicated coaches, supportive parents, reliable school drivers, nurses, our photographer and marketing team, and the entire administration team. Your collective effort has been instrumental in the smooth running and success of this sporting season.
Thanks to the incredible teamwork and dedication across the board, we achieved a remarkable total of 12 trophies this season, a feat we are all extremely proud of.

We also celebrated our top goal scorers this season:

• Agasha Nyamwezi – 9 goals
• Raphael Sumbu – 8 goals
• Michael Coetzee – 8 goals
• Camille Sumbu – 9 goals
And finally, Team of the Year honours were awarded to:
• U9 Boys Basketball Team
• U13 Boys Basketball Team
This event was not just a celebration of trophies and medals but a recognition of perseverance, teamwork, and school spirit. Congratulations once again to everyone involved – let us continue to aim higher and push boundaries in the seasons to come.
