Year 5 Trip to The Great Outdoors
Year 5 had an unforgettable adventure during their end-of-year trip to The Great Outdoors! The students embraced nature and enjoyed a variety of exciting activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
Their day began with a guided nature walk, where they learned about the environment and enjoyed the tranquility of nature. The fun continued with a an exhilarating zip lining experience, where many students soared through the trees, conquering fears and cheering each other on.
To cool off after the activities, the children took to the swimming pool. Laughter and splashes filled the air as they enjoyed a refreshing swim with friends and teachers.
This trip was a fantastic way to round off the school year—full of memories, learning, and friendship. Well done, Year 5!

What a Time!
Another year has flown on by,
With laughter echoing sky-high.
In Year 4, we’ve grown so much,
With curious minds and a learning touch!
From books and sums to games galore,
There’s never been a moment to ignore.
Outdoor ed in Mukono — what a blast!
Making memories sure to last.
We sang, we danced, we rocked the stage,
In Rock Bottom Rocks, we stole the page!
With spirit weeks and themed delight,
We dressed up bold and shone so bright.
New friendships bloomed, we faced our fears,
We’ve learned and laughed through all the years.
From classroom chats to jungle trails,
Through sunny days and rainy gales.
We’ve built up courage, stretched our wings,
And found such joy in little things.
Inspired now, we look ahead,
To Year 5 dreams that lie widespread!
So here’s a cheer for all we’ve done—
A year of growth, of smiles, and fun!
With hearts so full and spirits high,
We’re ready now to touch the sky!

A Memorable Farewell to Primary School
This term, our Year 6 learners marked an exciting milestone — their graduation from primary school! For the very first time, students wore traditional graduation gowns and caps, adding a special touch to the end-of-year prizegiving ceremony.
Each child was celebrated for their unique strengths, from creativity and leadership to kindness and resilience. It was a joyful moment as every student was recognised for the qualities that made them stand out.
We also honoured our long-standing students with a heartwarming presentation, showing their Reception year photos alongside their current Year 6 portraits. The transformation brought smiles, laughter, some embarrassment and even a few happy tears from proud parents and teachers.
The celebration continued with an energetic dance to the song “Dreamers,” reflecting the students’ hopes and dreams for the future. The event ended in style as the graduates threw their caps into the air, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
It was a proud and emotional day for families, staff, and students alike. To our Year 6 graduates — congratulations! You have left your mark on primary, and we can't wait to see what you'll achieve next.
