Year 4 – Off to a Brilliant Start!
What an exciting start we’ve had in Year 4! The new school year is already bursting with energy, curiosity, and creativity. We’ve jumped straight into our learning adventures, beginning with place value in Maths, where we’ve been sharpening our number skills and building confidence.
In English, we’ve stepped into the world of myths—reading, analysing, and even beginning to write our own legendary tales. Linking to our History, we’ve explored Ancient Greece, discovering what it was like to live as a Spartan or an Athenian (and debating which life might suit us best!).
Our science hats are on too, as we’ve become scientists investigating states of matter, asking questions, making predictions, and exploring the world around us. And of course, music has filled our classroom with joy as we learn new songs together.
It’s already clear—Year 4 is going to be an amazing year, full of discovery, creativity, and fun!

Back in Action!
The Year 3DA students are back in school and full of excitement as they dive into a variety of fun back-to-school activities! From decorating their classroom to playing team-building games, the students have had a joyful start to the term.
One of the highlights has been reading with the new school director, Mr. Michael, who brings stories to life with his expressive voice and love for books. They've also started engaging drama lessons with Ms. Bob, where they’ve begun exploring characters, emotions, and creative expression through role play.
In addition to all the fun, students are settling back into their routines, making new friends, and showing great enthusiasm for learning in this fresh new school year.

Settling Into Year 5 with Smiles and Success.
Welcome back to a brand new school year! After the long summer holiday, our Year 5 learners have settled in beautifully and are now familiar with the class routines and learning expectations. It has been wonderful to see their smiles, their excitement at reuniting with friends, and their eagerness to dive into new learning opportunities.
Already, the children are showing greater independence and responsibility, stepping up to the challenges that come with being in Upper Key Stage 2. They are beginning to work with more confidence, collaborate thoughtfully with one another, and take pride in their role as positive members of our class community.
Our first weeks together have been dedicated to settling in, building strong classroom relationships, and setting personal and academic goals for the term ahead. Through lessons designed to nurture team-building, reflective discussions, and plenty of laughter, we are creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued and ready to shine.
We are so proud of the way the class has started the year and are excited for the journey ahead. Thank you for your continued support at home — together, we can ensure a happy, purposeful, and successful Year 5 for all our learners.
We’re looking forward to an exciting and memorable term ahead!
