As Head of Humanities, I strongly encourage all students to consider studying at least one of the Humanities subjects—History, Geography, or Business Studies—at IGCSE. These subjects provide essential skills that go beyond the classroom, such as critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and a deeper understanding of the world we live in. History offers valuable insights into past events and how they shape our present and future. Geography helps students appreciate the complex interconnections between people, places, and the environment, while Business Studies equips students with practical knowledge of economics and entrepreneurship, essential in today’s globalized world. Choosing a Humanities subject broadens your perspective and prepares you for success in various fields.
