June 4, 2026 

• Enfin TPO call is a requirement for KCA. Official policy change as of June 4, 2026 all deals will require the call to be completed prior to approved intake. Enfin has extended their Saturday hours to cover Welcome Call hours on Saturdays to match their weekday support hours — now available through 9 PM PT. 

June 3, 2026 

• We're having projects rejected by Duke for mismatch addresses. Best way to avoid this is to first verify the legal address on the verification of Title, or Homeowner docs, and ensure thats the address you are qualifying on lease agreements. If you notice the utility bill city does not match prep the homeowner that our interconnection team will be reaching out to update the utility address. 

June 2, 2026 

• Service upgrades for Overhead and Underground services:

  • Existing Overhead Service = We can upgrade existing 100A service to 200A with 0 to minimal extra cost outside of the MPU adder. The extra costs only come into play if the meter is being relocated more than 10ft from it's current location.

  • Existing Underground Service = Existing 100A services can only be upgraded to 125A without trenching new higher rated service wires to the home. If customers with underground services are wanting a 200A service then these upgrade costs will be a lot more and can vary quite a bit due to trenching distance, if there is any concrete, etc.

• Exterior Conduit Run CA is the standard. mostly because tile roofs but still used majority of time.  

February 18, 2026 

• SEG 440 watt panel active in FL. Panel must be used for Light Reach projects in Florida. All other lenders continue using the QCell panel. Spec sheet available in Equipment Spec Sheets.

November 20, 2025 Ops to Sales Announcement

HOA's in Florida

• Prepping customers that they don't need HOA approval for solar. Just want reps to be aware of what we are going to say to homeowners. If the homeowners tell the rep they want HOA approval, PLEASE leave that in the "Extra Notes / Comments for operations" section of enerflo when submitting the deal so we can get them what they need ASAP.  It is still the homeowner's responsibility to submit all documentation and to communicate with the HOA. Ops just needs to be aware of the homeowner's plans to provide the required design plans as quickly as possible.  If a homeowner brings up HOA with their PC, this is what we will tell them:

"Great news — Florida is a Right to Solar state! That means your HOA cannot stop you from going solar! 

Because of that, we don’t have to wait on HOA approval to keep things moving! We want to ensure we move quickly in getting your solar system installed! "

Permitting Update - Florida

• Our Permitting team has improved permit submissions within the 1-day SLA by 12%. This is already helping shorten overall timelines for permit submission and, in turn, speeding up approvals.

• With the new Florida state law enforcing strict permitting approval deadlines, we’re also taking additional steps to keep things moving. Bri has created a new email template our team will use when working with jurisdictions, allowing us to reference the law and ensure permits are processed within the state-mandated timelines.

Iowa ITC Install Update

• As we approach the end of the Iowa ITC offering, our active pipeline and resources are now fully allocated to fulfill all projects previously promised for completion by year-end. Any projects currently on hold may be at risk of being installed after January 1. Additionally, any Iowa sales sold after Oct 31, 2025 cannot be guaranteed for installation before the end of the year.

• New section in the website called Quickbase Updates. As we improve your experience in Quickbase, the updates and video walkthroughs will be posted there. 

• There is improved visibility into the NEM and Permitting stages in Quickbase that allow you to drill into those stages. You can now see how much progress has been made, what the next step is, and if there is anything slowing down the teams progress. Check out the updates here

• Sunlight updated their loan products. NO MORE sunsaver products. Their regular loan options have changed too. There is a 10 yr and 20 yr option. Check the sunlight section of the "Lender Partners" page for updates on max loan amounts and max gross PPW.

Kin Home Minimum System Size Updated Effective Immediately

• Minimum system size: 8 panels

• If a utility rejects an 8-panel system as oversized, Ops will review case-by-case to decide if the job can proceed or must be cancelled.

• Deals sold before today will continue to be worked as planned.

August 4, 2025

• Enfin will update their loan terms on August 6, 2025. There will only be one APR option per term length. Dealer fees have been drastically reduced.  To learn more about Enfin specific requirements, click here.

  • 15 yrs 10.99%

  • 25 yrs 10.89%

  • 30 yrs 10.99% (must be sold with qcells)

• Enfin will also begin reviewing DTI as a part of their approval process. Homeowner cannot have more than 50% DTI to be considered for an Enfin loan.

• Max loan amounts will be determined by homeowner's credit score.
