Students review advertisements and how these are made effective through the use of logos, taglines, stereotyping and strategic manipulation of images and wording in the lead up to create their own campaign for "Thirst" a new juice.

Students explore UK budgeting and how this is best managed. We examine effective persuasive speeches made in the past and how these are shaped to appeal to the public's emotion in preparation to create and present their own speech about their chosen topic.

Students delve into Tabloid and Broadsheet articles to examine the purpose of print press and the effectiveness of their presentation of the facts... or sometimes, "facts". Students create their own articles and letters to the Editor to practice key skills and engage in their wider community.
