Year 7 Homework
Set on Seneca for the duration of the half term:
Term 1A: Course English KS3 Short Stories
Term 1B: English KS3: Spelling Punctuation and Grammar
Term 2A: Frankenstein AQA GCSE Or KS3 decoding words
Term 2B: English: KS3 Synoptic Poetry
Term 3A: English: KS3 Romeo and Juliet
Term 3B: English: KS3 Decoding words
Students should complete at least a minimum of 30 minutes of homework a week and each course should be finished by the end of the half term.
Year 8 homework:
Set on Seneca for the duration of the half term:
Term 1A: English KS3: Social Justice
Term 1B: English: Ks3 Non-fiction: War and Conflict
Term 2A: English KS3: Relationships and identity
Term 2B: English Ks3: Dracula
Term 3A: English KS3: Anthology including we should all be feminists, Matt Ridley & Greenpeace
Term 3B: English: KS3 Dystopian short stories.
Students should complete at least a minimum of 30 minutes of homework a week and each course should be finished by the end of the half term.
Year 9 & 10 homework:
Bedrock: Online platform – students should be completing 40 mins and aim for the Green Smiley face.
Year 11 homework:
All GCSE set texts and language courses to be set in September on Seneca for the duration of the year. Students should be using this for revision as well past papers. Students should be doing at least 40 minutes per week.
