Paper Mosaic
The 6th grade students learned how to create a mosaic from construction paper. The students learned about what makes mosaics so unique: 1.) There are spaces around each piece that the students add and 2.) You use different size shapes to fill up your paper. Mosaics are very similar to ceramic tile floors and stained glass windows with how they are made…Spaces in between each piece. The students selected an image that had meaning to them, is a hobby or something they enjoy.
