Wycinanki (Polish Paper Cutting)

The students have learned the techniques of Polish paper cutting. The students learned how to fold and cut different designs into their paper. They also designed the background with smaller pieces in which they used the same techniques. The students learned about making things symmetrical (the same image on both sides), and they had to look their design over to make sure the pieces they were putting on were the same on both sides of the image. Each student’s design is unique and original.
