Reading Canon

We want our learners to experience diverse and inclusive reading that they can enjoy and engage with, therefore these Reading Canons have been created to enrich, inspire, challenge and broaden learners’ experiences of the world. Each book has been highlighted with the year group suitability and the overarching themes - many of which are linked to the curriculum. 

We also encourage our parents and carers to support discussions at home around the different texts in these Canons and recommend you read some of these alongside your child!
